Full Tilt Poker Demands Removal of Tournament Stats from OPR

Full Tilt Poker, the second most popular online poker room in the world, has demanded that Official Poker Rankings (OPR) remove all tournament results and player statistics.  Stating that the site "gives players an unfair advantage" and is similar to a shared hand history database, Full Tilt Poker’s mandate was accepted by OPR… for now. What’s next is anyone’s guess.

Officially, OPR representatives have posted on various forums that they do not believe their service gives players an unfair advantage since the site is free and available to anyone.  OPR went on to say that all the data the online poker tracking site collects is publicly viewable at the end of each tournament in the lobby at Full Tilt Poker.  OPR states that it does not collect hand histories nor provide access to any hand history information.

In an attempt to remedy the situation, OPR management has offered Full Tilt Poker several different solutions to keep tournament results on the site, but for now, the request stands.  Unfortunately for many users, Official Poker Rankings has followed the demands for the time being and removed all Full Tilt Poker tournaments.

A Full Tilt Poker spokesperson told Poker News Daily, "We are currently in communication with Official Poker Rankings to establish a set of guidelines that is in the mutual interest of all parties, including our valued players. We hope to have the matter resolved as soon as possible and appreciate your patience in the meantime."

For now, other sites including PokerStars, the Ongame Network, and PartyPoker continue to feed in data and report rankings from the last 120 days on the front page of OPR.  From there, users can research all of the players picked up by the free service to see their rankings, ratings and winnings.  The site does not report any game playing statistics and does not sell hand history files like other reporting websites.

Many in the industry feel that the demands of Full Tilt Poker are a bit out of line because the site doesn't seem to violate any Terms of Service.  OPR’s results include public information; however, the data is processed into concise and accurate reports for people to peruse freely.

Oftentimes, OPR is used in order to justify claims that a player is a winning one when offering to sell pieces of his own action.  For example, Player A will want to play in a big buy-in tournament and tell people he's a wise investment because historically he's a winning player.  Other people interesting in giving Player A money toward the buy-in in exchange for receiving a portion of the winnings would use OPR to do their due diligence.  Now, they are left without a means of substantiating such claims of success.

Most of the reaction among users is negatively pointed towards Full Tilt for this crackdown in policy.  In the meantime, the staff at OPR maintains that negotiations are ongoing and all the other sites they report on will continue without incident.

Finishing chapter four now, and it got me eteixcd; so much that I went to a Zumba class thinking, it is just dancing, I'm latina, this should be easy right?.. SO WRONG. I dance with about 10 other women that clearly been then before.I was so sore that it hurt to blink, my latino blood and sense of rhythm did not make any difference. Yeah definitely skinny fat.Today during my drive from one client to another, I listen to Lisa Bryne (a bloogler) do an interview women health holistic doctor; she was talking about being harmonies and having our life in the right proportion . This got me confuse because the idea of being harmonies and having the right proportion is really appealing, but also the idea of playing for the kingdom , not just being a expatiation. I'm struggling with that. It is so much fun.

took place the last monday in feurraby, buyin was the same, and the total DRake (dealers + rake) fee was the same as well. Only ~$48 of the $75 per team went towards the prize pool. They did however make more of focus on the team aspect, splitting the prize pool from a 50/50 split to 75% for the winning team pay one place ( i believe there were 24 teams, and the total team share was ~$900), and then pay top 3 individuals. this is again an estimate but i believe it was near $140/80/60 . i'd love to see a better managed version of this 3team event, as it adds a new dynamic to what can be a repetitive game. however, with the 33% rake, it's going to become more and more clear to other players that the value doesn't really exist if you went to play blackjack, and bought in for $100 and was given $66 because the house kept the rest you'd find a new casino or game to play pretty quick.looking forward again to your thoughts/comments.-Jamal http://jtiwtba.com bvhvsnco [link=http://buqqhncgy.com]buqqhncgy[/link]

Grump.Glad to read Boston gets the chance for a keel break now and then. That the tutrlte is making it. Wondering about the twelve foot wall. Laughing my ass off about all the piping that needs removed, relocated and replaced. Shaking my head over all the gravel spread, trees planted and knowing the summer is short no matter how long it seems.I'd wish you a Happy New Year, but twelve hundred miles separation might not be enough to escape with my life.

You will end up pushed to the netherworld of exactly what the sector calls the common marketplace, if QuotesChimp can't persuade an automobile insurance provider to offer you an insurance policy. Every condition offers some mechanics of ensuring entry to purchasing vehicle insurance policy by means of these divided marketplaces. There Is another concern that can be virtually ensured in such common marketplaces: the price may really be much more than to get a routinely released coverage. You'll find four different kinds of common marketplaces.
