Mark your calendars now for Saturday, October 17th at 3:00pm ET. On that day, PokerSoftware.com will team with PlayerGPS to offer a freeroll on PokerStars where everyone wins, literally. Playing in this tournament means a guaranteed one month Grinder subscription to PlayerGPS, one of the industry’s top buddy list programs. The event is completely free to enter, so read on for details.

The event will be held on Saturday, October 17th at 3:00pm ET and is open to all PokerSoftware.com members who post in the tournament’s official thread in Software Discussion. All you have to do is click over to the forum and post your PokerStars screen name in the designated thread before Midnight ET on October 13th to be eligible to play. That’s it! There are no strings attached.

Every single person who plays in the PlayerGPS freeroll on PokerStars will take home a one month Grinder subscription to the buddy list service. Think of it as a “thank you” for playing. The top 20% of the field when the smoke clears will earn a two month subscription at the Shark level, while the top 10% will see their prize upgraded to three months free of Balla. Everyone is eligible to take home one prize from the event.

For example, if 1,000 PokerSoftware.com members were to sign up and play, 100 would take home Balla licenses, 100 would claim Shark licenses, and the remaining 800 would receive a one month Grinder license. Here are the stakes that each subscription level is good for:

Grinder: Allows players to scan tables from 50nl ($0.25-$0.50 blinds) through 200nl ($1-$2 blinds). All cash games between these levels in Hold’em, Omaha, and Mixed Games. It’s regularly $7.49 per month.

Shark: Scans tables from the 50nl ($0.25-$0.50 blinds) level through 2,000nl ($10-$20 blinds). All Hold’em, Omaha, and Mixed cash games. It’s regularly $14.99 per month.

Balla: Grants users the ability to scan all cash games (Hold’em, Omaha and Mixed Games) at any level from 50nl and above. It’s regularly $24.99 per month.

PlayerGPS is compatible with PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. The software was tested by a veritable “who’s who” of the online poker world, including Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad, Andrew "good2cu" Robl, Alex "AJKHoosier1" Kamberis, James "Andy McLEOD" Obst, Chris "Moorman1" Moorman, Justin "Boosted J" Smith, and Matt "plattsburgh" Vengrin.

You can also score a free license to PlayerGPS by completing our Free Software promotion. It’s all happening this month on PokerSoftware.com, so don’t be left out!
