It’s all about the ratings!  PokerTableRatings has long been an important resource for online poker players looking to research their opponents and keep track of their own statistics.  The collection of the useful tools at PokerTableRatings includes a real-time table selector, player research tools, a buddy list with e-mail alerts, and a variety of helpful reports that provide up-to-the-minute results and accurate data.

In a constantly evolving market, PokerTableRatings has announced several changes to its award-winning site that will make any online poker player happy.

First, PokerTableRatings has announced that it will soon be releasing full tracking and hand histories for the Merge Gaming Network, making sites like Carbon Poker, Lock Poker, Poker Nordica, and Poker Host accessible.  Since the events of the April 15th, the Merge Gaming Network has seen considerable increases in its player volume.

Players will soon be able to track their opponents’ play as well as purchase hand histories to import into their favorite poker tracking software like PokerTracker, Holdem Manager, and Poker Office.

In February, PokerTableRatings announced the winners of its popular PartyPoker Challenge, where players competed to obtain milestones and acquire badges.  The contest measured play on PartyPoker, where the first five people to earn 12 badges received an iPad along with a set of custom Paulson chips.

The next 10 players who achieved eight badges received a PlayStation 3/Xbox and the next 50 people who earned four badges received a $10 gift card to Amazon.  The promotion was incredibly popular, drawing countless players to win one of the many prizes being given away.

PokerTableRatings has announced that it will once again be running the PartyPoker Challenge, but this time with a twist.  The contest, which will likely be held in July or August, will feature new prizes and include unique promotions with other poker rooms.  We’ll keep you posted as soon as the contest’s details are revealed.

PokerTableRatings has also been very active by locking up a deal with the popular online poker training site CardRunners.  The CardRunners online training site, begun by college friends and poker pros Taylor “Green Plastic” Caby and Andrew “muddywater” Wiggins, has quickly risen to the top as the largest training website with more than 2,000 videos, hundreds of poker blogs, and a very active forum that is frequented by several aspiring poker pros.

While the details of the affiliate relationship were not made public, the partnership presents a strong union between two of the more prominent sites in the industry.

PokerSoftware.com has also learned that an impending announcement is just around the corner featuring a couple of even bigger PokerTableRatings features that will be released later this year, but those are being kept firmly nestled underneath the hat for the time being.  We’ll make certain to announce all of the information as soon as it’s made available.
