The poker database program PokerTracker 4 is the first of its kind to offer support for Speed Poker, the fast-fold game found on the iPoker Network. PokerTracker's Steven McLoughlin told PokerSoftware in an exclusive statement, "PokerTracker is the first to support the Speed Poker tables at iPoker and we now have the most advanced range creation tools ever released for equity calculators."

Speed Poker, which is available on iPoker sites like Titan Poker, is similar to Zoom Poker on PokerStars and Rush Poker on the old Full Tilt in that it enables you to move from table to table at lightning-quick speeds. If you pick up a crummy 5-2 offsuit, just hit the "Fold" button and you'll be instantly taken to a new table with a new set of opponents where a new hand will begin. Players using PokerTracker 4 can now take advantage of their Heads-Up Displays, or HUDs, when battling on Speed Poker tables.

In order to activate support for Speed Poker, you'll need to go to the main PokerTracker menu and click "Configure: Site & Import Options." Then, select "iPoker." You'll see a box next to "Speed Poker HUD," which you should check and then hit "OK." PokerTracker officials then spelled out:

1. Start PokerTracker 4
2. Start your iPoker skin and log into your account
3. Click "Get Hands While Playing" in PokerTracker 4
4. Join a Speed Poker table

PokerTracker 4 will support exactly one Speed Poker table. If you try to fire up more than one Speed Poker window, PokerTracker's HUD will only recognize the first game.

Another new feature added to the latest update to PokerTracker, Version 4.05 Beta, is the ability to create suited ranges using text shortcuts in the Equity Calculator. PokerTracker officials pointed out, "PokerTracker 4 is the first to introduce this ability to poker players." Additionally, new tournament summary import options have been added, as has a tutorial video on the replayer.

A variety of changes and fixes were also made in PokerTracker Version 4.05 Beta, including ones related to video exports. Now, when you export a video from PokerTracker, you can elect to hide the hero's and villains' names, display chip stacks in currency or big blinds, display or hide all known hole cards, and save video settings for future exports. There is no scarcity of options when it comes to video exporting in PokerTracker 4.

In order to finalize the newest release of PokerTracker, you'll need to complete a database update. Text found in a PokerTracker press release explains why an update is necessary: "A database update will be required with this release. This mandatory update is required due to the changes made to select stats within the database. Please be aware that action may take some time to complete. The length of time required is dependent on the size of your databases."

There are several pricing options for PokerTracker 4, starting with a free 30-day trial. If you've never used Poker Tracker 4 before and want to give it a whirl, you'll have a month to take advantage of all that it offers. If you decide to buy, the program runs $99.99 for the Full version, $59.99 for the Small-Stakes version, $159.99 for the Hold'em and Omaha Full version, and $99.99 for the Hold'em and Omaha Small-Stakes version.
