If you can't make it to the World Series of Poker this year, then listen to the action from afar with the Tournament Poker Edge Live Podcast. Derek Tenbusch, who runs Tournament Poker Edge, told PokerSoftware, "Tournament Poker Edge is set to re-ignite the popular Tournament Poker Edge Live Podcast. Our popular MTT training site is already well known for its strategy podcast, but the Live Podcast takes a bit of a different approach." The first episode will be released on Tuesday, June 4.

What's different about the WSOP podcast? Why will players be tuning in to hear what's going on at the world's largest tournament series? Tenbusch explained, "Recorded on location at the World Series of Poker, Tournament Poker Edge Live seeks to give TPE members and non-members alike a glimpse in to what it is like to spend a summer in Las Vegas grinding the WSOP and other popular tournament series. This includes tournament updates, stories from the TPE house, and general observations on all of the stories breaking throughout the summer." Given the site's stable of pros, it should be quite unique.

If you're interested in listening to the latest Tournament Poker Edge podcasts, you can find all of the episodes by clicking here. They are also available on iTunes. Tenbusch added, "Living in Las Vegas every summer with all of the other Tournament Poker Edge pros is so much fun and we wanted to find a way to share the experience with our community. It is a much more informal podcast than what we normally do with our strategy podcast. We just try to have fun with it and I think that comes across well."

Late last month, Tournament Poker Edge pros Casey "bigdogpckt5s" Jarzabek and Tim "TTwist" Kelly produced a WSOP Primer Podcast that stretched for 70 minutes. The show featured Jarzabek and Kelly talking about their plans for the WSOP this year and lending several tips to those headed to the Nevada desert to partake. There are plenty of games to choose from at the Rio, including bracelet events, deep stack tournaments, and cash games.

Poker players who have released strategy podcasts recently on Tournament Poker Edge include Mike "SowersUNCC" Sowers, Chris "MovesLikeDarvin" Moon, and "DannyN13." The podcasts are all free to listen to, so you don't even need a Tournament Poker Edge subscription to be able to extract a few tips.

Tournament Poker Edge offers a few different pricing plans to fit all budgets. If you just want to take a look around, you can get a one-month subscription for $29.95. A quarterly subscription is $84.95, while a yearly membership is $299.95, which represents a 16% savings. The site accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover for payment. Unlike some of its competitors, Tournament Poker Edge does not have a sign-up fee.

Tournament Poker Edge puts up four new tournament-focused videos per week and, to give you an idea of its recent volume, the site published two new videos in the first three days of June.
