Recently, PokerSoftware sat down with Tournament Poker Edge co-founder and co-CEO Derek "Killingbird" Tenbusch to talk about the top headlines from 2013 at the poker training site. Now, we wanted to preview the coming year. What's in store and what can you look forward to?

PokerSoftware: What is on tap in 2014 at Tournament Poker Edge?

Derek Tenbusch: 2014 should be a great year for TPE. We will be adding some new pros to the roster, some of whom have already been signed, but we are just waiting for their videos to be finalized before announcing them. Also, now that TPE University has been launched, we have our programmers working on some other cool additions to the site that will continue to improve the user experience for our members.

As our site grows and we continue to put out more content, we want to continue to find ways to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible for our members to consume it. And, perhaps best of all, we just booked our house for the summer in Las Vegas for the 2014 WSOP. We always look forward to spending the summer out there as a team and hopefully winning some hardware while we are at it.

PokerSoftware: Can you give us a sneak preview of the new features?

Derek Tenbusch: Some of the features are going to be relatively simple. For example, we will be adding a content calendar so people can see what will come out over the next two or three weeks. We will also be launching a new podcast that I cannot say too much about other than that the first episode should launch in February and that if you plat mid-stakes MTTs, you are going to love it. After this launches, we will have four podcasts as part of the TPE podcast "network," which is pretty exciting.

PokerSoftware: What new instructors will we see on TPE this year?

Derek Tenbusch: In terms of new pros, I can't give away too much because we've leaked new pros in the past and then had them fall through. But, since this one is already in a print ad somewhere, I guess it is safe to announce that we will be launching the first series soon from Ben "Reasons14" Reason. He is a really well respected player, especially among people familiar with the best US regs, so we are looking forward to seeing what he brings to the table with his first series.

PokerSoftware: Is there anything else you want to share with our readers?

Killingbird: Thank you to the TPE community for making 2013 the best year yet. Also, I'd like to give a big thanks to PokerSoftware for all of the support.
