PokerSnowie Adds Real-Time Advice, More Starting Stack Sizes

PokerSnowie is a tool designed to improve your game by practicing against the software's artificial intelligence programmed to be as close to optimal Game Theory Optimal (GTO) as possible.  The creators of PokerSnowie decided to put their money where their mouth is and, in December, began a challenge pitting challengers against PokerSnowie.

After 3.3 million hands and over 4,500 challengers, PokerSnowie is dominating in just about every category.  In fact, out of the 15 categories of players, only world-class heads-up players have a slight edge on PokerSnowie.

If you remove players who have played fewer than 100 hands against PokerSnowie, challengers lost 18.61/100 big blinds and had an error rate of 17.53.  This is out of 2.8 million hands, showing that PokerSnowie's GTO intelligence can beat just about anyone and that every player can learn something by practicing their game against it.

PokerSnowie's poker training software was just upgraded to Version 2.5, adding two highly requested features to the already impressive software.  Both should allow you to improve your game even faster than before.

First, the software has a real-time option for advice by enabling "real-time evaluation" when starting any new Challenge PokerSnowie table.  This means you no longer have to wait until the end of a hand or session to see how PokerSnowie recommends you play according to the programmed GTO.

This option is not for everyone, as it could be an important training tool to think out how you would play the hand before jumping to how PokerSnowie approaches it.  That being said, I love having this new feature available for when I don't feel like playing out hands and want to see what the software thinks of certain situations.

Second, PokerSnowie added many more starting stack sizes, enabling you to get training on short stack and deeper stack play.  You can now play against PokerSnowie with a 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 100, or 200 big blind stack.

The software also now has a great option for topping up your stack after each hand similar to how many players play cash games online.  So, if you have leaks after you double up your stack, start each hand with 200 big blinds and you can quickly learn how to better approach very deep situations.  Similarly, if you have leaks with a short-stack, choose a smaller stack size to start with and play through situations only geared toward where you need the most help.

To celebrate these new features, PokerSnowie is having a price promotion.  Normally, the software costs €149.  However, until March 9, it will only cost €119, representing a savings of over 20%.  The monthly subscription price remains the same at €14.90.

If you want to take your game to the next level, now might be the perfect time to check out PokerSnowie.  Not only does the software have new features, but the recent PokerSnowie Challenge also shows really how powerful the software is.  Visit PokerSnowie's website for more details.
