Max Value Software owns two of the biggest third-party poker software suites in the world: PokerTracker 4 and Hold'em Manager 2.  Both programs provide a world-class poker tracking database and HUD, albeit in different ways.

The company thrives on superior software that supports most major online poker rooms.  It also has great support and constant updates. Speaking of updates, both PokerTracker 4 and Hold'em Manager 2 both recently rolled out new versions of their software to add more functionality and fix some small issues.

At the end of April, PokerTracker 4 released Version 4.14.14, which added support for the newly rolled out lottery-style Sit & Go Hero games.  Players on partypoker.it also benefitted from this update with better table detection for the HUD.  Worldwide, the HUD now has DPI monitor support for the Windows operating system.

A few issues were fixed as well. Winamax import errors were fixed for players ending with "ante" and an error involving importing of hands without blind position has also been addressed.  The new version also addressed an issue where the first hand in 888poker rebuy tournaments was importing incorrectly.  Specific site=related issues were also fixed for players on iPoker and Barriere.

Mac users also benefitted from this update, with the new version fixing the black box modal dialogue windows. In addition, shortly after Version 4.14.14 came Version 4.14.15. This update was just for Mac users to fix some regression of note and chip menu issues that came up due to the release of Version 4.14.14.

Additionally, Hold'em Manager 2 announced on its forum a pair of Beta releases in Version 2.0.0.8433 and 2.0.0.8434. The biggest issue addressed with these releases was support for hand history changes at PokerStars and an enhanced Zoom HUD detection.

Additionally, the update focused on PKR with a number of fixes and updates including improving the HUD detection after the client upgrade, updating the default HUD layouts for six-max and full-ring games, resolving import issues, and adding HUD import support for anonymous tables that will work when playing one table at a time.

The update also addressed a pair of issues for its popular HM Apps. An issue was fixed with SNG Wizard 2 with the paste hand history command. Also, TableScanner received an upgrade with a new version of its InstaScan for PokerStars tables.  The team noted that while this is still in Beta, it is free for all users.

Both software packages come with a 30 day free trial, so you have nothing to lose and plenty to gain.
