Are you using a HUD? If not, why not? If so, are you happy with what you are using?

If you are not using a HUD or are dissatisfied with the one you have, check out PokerTracker 4. It is one of the most advanced poker software suites available and the choice of many of the biggest names in the game.

PokerTracker 4 is easy to download and use. It is available for both Mac and Windows, so regardless of which operating system you use, you should be able to enjoy everything the software has to offer.

The software is compatible with just about every major online poker room and tracks your Texas Hold'em and Omaha cash games, sit and gos, and multi-table tournaments.  The software provides detailed in-game information about your opponents in a heads-up display (HUD), while also hosts a database where you can review your results and analyze your play.

The HUD is clear and easily fits on your tables even if you are expanding and contracting them while playing. There are literally hundreds of stats to choose from or you can use one of the packaged HUDs the software provides. Additionally, you can decide whether you want to view total stats of a player or just current table stats.

A feature I absolutely love is the auto-note-taking system called NoteTracker. The software automatically takes notes including exact stats about how your opponent played before. For example, you can view your opponent's four-bet range with exact hands, which hands they called three-bets with, and many other situational spots that prove useful while playing.

Additionally, you can take your own notes with a great color-coding free-form system. There are even notation shortcuts you can take advantage of to make your note-taking quicker than before.

Many PokerTracker 4 customers also take advantage of the street-by-street pop-ups that can be accessed just by clicking on the HUD. Here you can review all the essential information by street, which can prove useful when deciding how to approach a hand pre-flop, on the flop, the turn, or the river. Also, these stats are broken out by position or you can view the total if the sample size isn't sufficient.

Where I love the HUD the most is when I'm playing fast-fold poker such as Zoom on PokerStars. The HUD keeps up with the action and provides crucial information about opponents. Since the opponents change every time and there is no table flow, in this game I find the HUD to be the most important to my game.

While we won't get into too much detail about the reporting aspects the database features in this article, it is definitely another great reason to use PokerTracker 4. You can review your information with many reports and graphs and perhaps even more importantly review specific play with LeakTracker and the Hand Range Visualizer. There are also tons of filters you can use that will help when narrowing down what you want to review.

There are just some of the features the software has to offer. We can go on and on and talk about the powerful Independent Chip Model (ICM) Simulator, the advanced replayer that features a hand equity calculator, TableTracker, and much more.

Check it out today. PokerTracker 4 comes with a 30-day free trial, so you have nothing to lose to see how much the software so many poker players use can help you as well.
