Post Dead Solid Poker

Hi guys,
Is anyone using the Dead Solid Poker training software? I've just started using it and first impressions are pretty good. Just wondered if anyone has followed the course through to the end and what effect it has had on their games?

Grateful for any feedback.

I haven't used the software, but looking at the example on their site, it looks like it could be a good tool. Whether there are better tools that would provide more value is a different question since their price of $50 seems a bit high, however, if you plan to be playing $1/$2 NL, understanding the concepts they will probably teach you should pay itself back quickly.

Have you found any improvements in your game since you started using this training program?

Have not been playing lately, promised myself I wouldn't until I had worked my way through the course offered by the software, due to my bankroll taking a dive over the last few months .
But the course makes sense and when I do get back to the tables I will have more confidence sticking to a strategy as apposed to gambling and going on gut instincts.

Thanks for the feedback.

Weekender, what stakes do you plan to play when you get back to the felts?

Also, what are some of the things you have learned from using this educational tool?

Good luck with your game!

I play micro stakes cash and sit & go's. The solid strategy gives you a set way to play each hand based on whether the pot is limped, raised or 3-bet.
Hands are put into groups, pre-flop big pairs, power hands, power draws, weak draws etc and after the flop Trips, straights, flushes, 2 pair etc.
The dead solid strategy shows you how you can modify this taking into account the opponents you are up against, tight, loose, passive, aggressive and so on.
