Post Hold 'em Manager vs. Poker Tracker

I'm debating which suite of applications to go with. I play a lot of SNGs, including a lot of heads up tables, so the SNG Wizard in HEM looks interesting, as well as Leak Buster and Table Scanner for cash games.

But my impression is that Poker Tracker and Table Tracker have an overall somewhat better review. I've never seen either in action beyond reviews, so I was wondering if anyone out there has used both and has user feedback.

I play at PokerStars and am not really interested in opening new accounts on other sites right now, and I want to get the most useful and complete information I can on opponents within the bounds of ethics and PS policy.

Any votes for HEM? PT? Something else?

Thanks! :D

Your post is older by now but you have not received any responses yet so I thought I would give you a suggestion (or anyone else that reads this in the future).

Both pieces of software are very good and are the class of tracking software. For the most part they are nearly identical in functionality with each being better in certain areas.

I personally believe that PT3 is better for tournament players (but then I am biased).

I suggest that you download both and purchase whichever you feel most comfortable. PT3 offers a nearly fully function free 60 day trial and HEM offers a 15 day trial. Use them both for the entire trial period and you'll quickly know which one is right for you.

Best regards,

Derek
