How do I make a Poker Video?
Hi folks,
I am interested in making a poker tutorial video, can anybody tell me how I'd go about doing this? (from an IT technical point of view).
Sorry if my question is a bit vague, but I really haven't got a clue where to start.
Many Thanks

Hi davidcooke,
For our video reviews we normally use the Camtasia screen recording software. Although there are a lot of aspects to recording videos, most software nowadays comes with a complete "How To" guide that may take a little time to master but allows you to practice zooming, audio quality, etc.
Best of luck with your project.

I agree with what dhubermex said. Camtasia is the way to go. There's even a free trial so you can see whether or not you like it.

Re: How do I make a Poker Video?
I agree Camtasia is suitable for screen recording. However, to demonstrate poker games it's an overkill. For this, I would use PokerMemento. Import a hand history file, load the game, right-click, "Create Video". Done!
It takes a couple of seconds to get a decent video which can then be loaded into, for instance, Microsoft Movie Maker (free) where you can add sound etc. Movie Maker makes this task incredibly easy!
