Hi anatoly8, Like Paul said, let us know which site you're trying to clear the bonus on and we can cross-reference that with their Terms & Conditions for bonus clearing to provide you with an accurate answer. Best of luck, -David
Re: I want to know which rule applies to the following situation

Mon Sep 12, 2011 8:25 am

Hi Malika9, This generally depends on the casino or cardroom where you're playing, as the table rules vary. If your cards hit the muck, then your hand is automatically declared dead, but I'm unsure if that's what happened in your specific case. From now on, the best thing to do is check the rules beforehand and be very careful how you treat your hole cards, especially during an all-in hand. Best of luck in the future. -David

Re: How much do you play?

Wed Oct 12, 2011 5:15 pm

Hi Malika9, I don't play as much online poker as I used to, but back in '05-'07 I played about 80 hours per week (tournaments). My schedule was waking up at around 3pm and playing low to mid stakes MTTs from approximately 6pm ET to 2am ET every day of the week. Best of luck to you in your poker goals... and glgl w/Super Mario Galaxy too. ;) -David

Re: Hand histories?

Sat Nov 19, 2011 1:25 am

Hello who, You are correct in your assumption. The software only gathers hole card information from opponents whose hands went to showdown. There is no information on opponents' hands that were folded before going to showdown. -David
Re: Advanced Poker Training?

I'm glad to hear you're playing well and turning a profit, who. I agree it's easier to make certain moves when deep down you know there's no money at stake. Regardless, APT is an excellent learning tool. Keep up the good work. :) -David

Re: do the pokersites employ house players to combat players tha

Tue Dec 06, 2011 12:55 pm

Hi warped, One of the major benefits of having marquee poker programs such as Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker available is the ability to spot collusion and inconsistencies in online card dealing. Personally, I've seen well over 1 million hands in my online poker career and firmly believe that the individual responsible for my long-term expectations (be it positive or negative) is myself. Play poker long enough, and you'll have days where you run so good or so bad that it's hard to believe... but in the long run it's all part of the game. -David
Re: When do you chop a pot with same pair?

Tue Dec 06, 2011 1:00 pm

Hi Henry, In Texas Hold'em, the five cards are taken from the community and hole cards in order to form the "best" hand. In your example, the board is A-J-J-9-K Hole Cards: A-7 and A-5 Taking a closer look at this, we see that the "best" hand possible for both players is: TWO PAIR: ACES & JACKS with a KING KICKER Assuming there is no flush, the community card "9" does not play in this example because it cannot improve the best possible hand for the players. The "7" and "5" contained in the hole cards do not improve on the best possible hand either, so the showdown results in a tie in which the pot is chopped. Hope this helps, -David

Re: How do I make a Poker Video?

Thu Jul 05, 2012 12:38 pm

Hi davidcooke, For our video reviews we normally use the Camtasia screen recording software. Although there are a lot of aspects to recording videos, most software nowadays comes with a complete "How To" guide that may take a little time to master but allows you to practice zooming, audio quality, etc. Best of luck with your project. -David
