Post Super Turbo KO tournaments on Full Tilt

Oh man, these things are like crack to me. You start out with 300 chips and blinds of 15/30 with 5 minute levels. Part of the buy-in in a bounty. I've seen them in NLHE FR, NLHE 6-Max and PLO. Buy-in ranges from $6 to $100.

Basically its a super turbo short stacked bounty tourney. Lots of fun, lots of action, and they don't take long at all. I think I am chemically addicted to these!

Of course there is a huge luck component, but so many people play so bad I think a solid player will have a big edge in these for a while. Study up on some short stack push-bot strategy and dominate these things.

Tip: re-steals have HUGE value and you should rarely if ever put yourself in a position to get re-raised where you have to fold

Good grief this is a push-n-pray! I hope you don't play these for any sort of large buy-in. $5 i can understand "for fun" but please don't tell me these are like $100 tournaments.

There really is a lot of strategy in these. Everybody is a short stack, but 90% of people are really bad at playing short stacks so a good player will have a huge edge. Of course they are very high variance... but still +EV. The key is to win a pot within the first orbit. Once you have more than 10bbs you can wait for a good spot to resteal or call an all in with a solid hand. By far the biggest mistake people make in these is blinding away. If you are able to double up right away you can sit back and snipe off the shorties who blind away to 5bbs or less.

The highest I have played is $50, but there are $100 ones also.

I have noticed that they experiment with the bounty sizes. Sometimes the bounty will be 20% of the buyin, other times it will be up to 50% of the buyin. I am sure this changes the dynamic completely, but I am not sure how

I guess it's more advantageous to push small edges when you have a chance to eliminate someone as the value of going deeper isn't as good.

That's what you called gambling. You can't just simply get your winnings that easy.
