 First Impressions on PlayerGPS.com
Hey guys my article about my first impressions on a hot new poker program (online based) called PlayerGPS.com was published and is featured on the homepage. http://www.pokersoftware.com/articles/2 ... sions.htmlAnyone else using this? I immediately put some friends I have that play 50nl+ off the top of my head and then looked up a couple of big fish I know (you can tell by the screenshots). I think a couple of other guys have the official review in the works but for now the beta is actually free until June 1st (personally confirmed with their site staff) so check it out. Cool? I think so. Worth the future cost per month? That's definitely debatable.

You only have to stack a fish once for it to pay for itself

It should be noted that I was contacted by the PlayerGPS people and they have since retracted the pricing structure and it is official "TBD" so who knows. The good news is that it is free through June 1.

I just checked this service out, and I'm very impressed. This is going to be great as long as they don't charge a million bucks for it. Those fewls who run from me at the HORSE tables will never be able to play again muhhahaha!!

Would you be willing to pay more if the list updated faster?

 Re: First Impressions on PlayerGPS.com
I haven't had a problem with speed so far, it seems to let me know wen someone is on within a few minutes at the longest, but I haven't used it that much. I am also pleased with the fact that it acts as an extra security layer, texting me when my account sits down at the tables. I recommend everyone put themselves on their list. If I ever get that text message that I have just logged on and it's not me I'll be forewarned that someone is on my account within minutes.

Fox that's brilliant, you're absolutely right that you can use this as a layer of security.

That is a really good idea! I am surprised nobody has offered that service before. I am sure that anybody who plays mid/high stakes would be glad to pay for alerts if their account is active.

 Re: First Impressions on PlayerGPS.com
this software is slow to identify the fish. not instant like i expected.by the time you get the alert at hu for example, someone else will have sat down with them. Also set up mobile phone alert for my own screename to see how fast it was.I got an alert 35mins later.Pointless software,at those speeds.
