Magic Holdem is a tool that assists players by giving them mathematical information that might otherwise be hard for someone to calculate. It will read your cards at the table and then use its engine to provide advice. Particularly aimed at beginning poker players, this utility attaches itself onto your table and gives immediate odds calculations. It supports 100+ online poker rooms and multi-table play. For beginning players who struggle with concepts such as pot odds and outs, this is a utility that will teach the right way to think mathematically in poker.
We recommend Magic Hold'em to beginning players who are looking to gain a thorough understanding of pot odds and basic strategy.

Features:
Magic Holdem is a poker odds calculator that attaches itself to your table and reports key data that helps players make decisions. The program does not make decisions for you, but will display your outs, which means it’s an effective tool for a beginner. Check out Magic Holdem for yourself.
Installing the program is fairly simple and it even comes with a 300-hand trial period if you want to try it before you buy. Once you’ve installed it, more often than not Magic Holdem will automatically detect and attach itself to your poker table. However, there are apparently some issues with the program if you have your table set to a non-standard size.
The program’s best feature is the outs tool that gives all of the information a player will need post-flop in order to understand what he or she is drawing to. In the “outs” window, instead of the program just stating the number of perceived outs a player has, a graphical representation of the cards is given. This helps the user understand which cards are outs rather than giving a static number. The “outs” diagram is displayed from the flop to the river and also has a percentage associated with it, making it easier to calculate odds. This helps a beginning player properly read the board. Here is a sneak peek at the interface:

There are several diagrams included that show the rank of your starting hand as well as a green diagram with Sklansky hand groups. There is also a colored strip that grows as your hand gets stronger.
Using Magic Holdem is very simple once you get past the somewhat tricky installation process. After you spend the necessary time setting it up, Magic Holdem is extremely helpful and best used by beginners in Texas Hold’em games. Since the program works on so many sites, it should have pretty wide appeal and serves as a great tool to become more familiar with hand reading and odds calculations.
I’ve intimated that MagicHoldem isn’t free but that’s not entirely true. While I could buy it at $89.90 for a year’s license, there’s no need to do so. All I had to do is make a minimum deposit at one of the popular poker rooms. When I did this, I got both bonus deposit money and one year’s free license for MagicHoldem.
