PokerHub.org Synopsis

PokerHub.org is a free site that allows users to post hand histories to a central database. Players are required to register, which is free, after which they can post single hand histories or upload entire files. The hands are reformatted into a graphically rich and easy-to-read format with their own unique URL for sharing. Players can search for hands on certain players and share them with their friends.

PokerHub.org Full Review

PokerHub.org is a free site that only has one requirement, a very short registration process.  The site allows you to upload or paste hand histories from PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and Absolute Poker.  You can paste individual hand histories or upload entire files from within the “Post Hand” section.

Once you’ve pasted a hand, you can choose the display type and pick one of the eight supported languages.  The hand details area tells you information such as the hand number, game type, limit, table name, pot size, blinds, rake, and date.  The hand is parsed into a very graphically pleasing format that makes reading the hand and action extremely easy.  At the very top, there’s a “Link to Post,” which you can share on your blog, e-mail to a friend, or post on a forum.  There’s even a little box on the right side so players can make comments on the hand.

The site comes with a tool called “AutoPost,” which allows you to install a program on your computer that will automatically take hand histories and upload them to the site.  Once you have the program configured and a poker site is running, simply hit “CTRL+Q” and the program will post the hand to PokerHub.org.

There’s a nice search feature that is accessible at the top of the main page.  The first box allows you to enter the data of your choosing.  Typically, this will be the “Poker Site Username” for the first box, which means you will leave the second box alone.  The third box lets you pick among the sites supported.  Alternatively, you can look up hands by “Poker Site Hand ID” or “Poker Hub Hand ID” in the search area.  If you do a search for a specific player, all hands that have been uploaded and include that player will come up in a report.  From there, you can click on a hand and see the details.

If you are looking for a place to upload your hands to and be able to share links with people to get comments on your hands, PokerHub.org might be your site.  The parser the site uses is sleek and all uploads went extremely smoothly.  Considering this service is absolutely free, it’s definitely worth a look.
