Full Review
Sit-N-Go Power Tools (SNG Power Tools or SNGPT for short) is an excellent training device for single table tournaments. It does a few things better than any of its competitors: It runs very quickly and smoothly and comes with some nice articles on the game. The tutorial is even quite good.
It has two very strong competitors in SitNGo Wizard and Bubble Trainer, which include very nice quiz features. For most players, the quiz is the most helpful part of these programs and without one it is very tough for SNGPT to compete. But wait, there may be other reasons to buy SNGPT.
SNGPT is fast and simple when it comes to doing your own calculations. It's probably the best of the automated ICM's in that respect. It also has a nice interface that shows you the hand ranges you are selecting instead of just asking you to guess at percentages. For $79, SNGPT is probably a good investment for a serious sit and go player. Owning this program alongside SNGWiz has been a big help to me and will help you improve quicker than one program alone.
If you are just gettintg started, go buy SNGWiz, and once you get rolling, come back and then buy SNGPT to go with it. You'll be glad you did.
