Recently, PokerSoftware.com brought you a feature piece on Poker Tournament Supervisor, which allows you to run a simple home game or large-scale multi-table event without batting an eye. The computer-based software runs $19.99 and comes with a free 15 day trial period so you can give it a test drive. To get you even more fired up about this brand new tournament clock, we sat down with Sorais Hermann, its creator, to learn how Poker Tournament Supervisor was developed as well as investigate its future developments. The Frenchman gives us the 411 in this exclusive interview. Shuffle up and deal!

PokerSoftware.com: What separates Poker Tournament Supervisor from other event management systems already in the marketplace?

Hermann: I can't say that I’ve fully tested all of the other programs out there, but Poker Tournament Supervisor is very user-friendly. I took a lot of time to improve its graphic interface over my competition. It comes with all of the necessary options to run a successful poker tournament and even includes new tools like the ability to print.

PokerSoftware.com: Tell me about its features. What's left for you to include in the future?

Hermann: I’ve been thinking about adding the ability to save a multi-table tournament structure. Right now, Poker Tournament Supervisor allows you to manage as many tables as you want, but the settings are unique.

PokerSoftware.com: Tell us about the challenges of speaking French as your first language and trying to build the product in English.

Hermann: I didn't have a choice. I started making it in French and then quickly decided to translate it into English. The English version is now the most important one. I'm not bad at English and my wife is better than me at it, which can help.

PokerSoftware.com: What feedback have you received thus far?

Hermann: Poker Tournament Supervisor is still a new piece of software, but the people who already use it appreciate it. Typical feedback is along the lines of "It’s a very good program” or "It would be great to add this feature."

PokerSoftware.com: What features have been suggested and how long does it take to implement those types of upgrades?

Hermann: I’ve had a request to be able to manage the round time on the timer screen. That's almost done. Changes usually take about one day, but it ultimately depends on the time that I have to devote to them. Users’ suggestions are always appreciated.

PokerSoftware.com: After the 15 day free trial period, Poker Tournament Supervisor is $19.99 per license. How did you come up with that price and why was the free trial period important?

Hermann: I couldn't sell something without a trial version. I'm sure those who bought Poker Tournament Supervisor did so because they were satisfied with it. I think $19.99 is the correct price for it. Other products in the industry are totally overpriced and I wanted to make it cheaper.
