Two of the biggest guns in the poker software industry are featured prominently on our site. PokerTracker and Hold'em Manager have been sought-after by many members of PokerSoftware.com as part of our Free Software promotion. PokerTracker is $89.99 to buy, while Hold'em Manager will set you back $80. However, both can be claimed for free just by downloading and depositing onto a major online poker room.

We've had a slew of PokerSoftware.com members grab free licenses to PokerTracker and Hold'em Manager so far. In fact, they have been, far and away, the most sought-after programs we offer. All you have to do to get your own copy is click on "Free Software" on the left-hand menu. You'll find that we work with 30 of the industry's top poker software programs, from Tournament Shark to Sixth Sense. Looking for a free copy of Sit-N-Go Power Tools? We can hook you up with one of those, too.

Next, click the software you want and then sign up and deposit on one of the online poker rooms you see. Currently, we work with Absolute Poker, Bodog, Carbon Poker, Full Tilt Poker, PartyPoker, PokerStars, Titan Poker, and Ultimate Bet. Each room has its own requirements in order to get a piece of free software. For example, on Absolute Poker, a $50 minimum deposit is required and the minimum stakes are $0.50/$1 for Limit and $20 for No Limit. We require 375 points in order for you to be eligible. Many of the sites we work with accept players from the United States, so if you're in that country, don't worry! You're still eligible to get something for nothing.

The next step is to download the room onto your computer and create a special account that is used by us to track your progress. If you have any questions, feel free to send us an e-mail at support@pokersoftware.com. We'll be happy to help. You can also post in our forums, which we monitor constantly. Once you have completed the specified requirements, we'll send you a free version of IdleMiner, Hold'em Hawk, or whatever piece of software you signed up for. It's as easy as that.

Both PokerTracker 3 and Hold'em Manager have free trial periods, so if you're not sure which one you prefer, our advice is to download both and take a test drive for yourself. Each interacts differently with the various computer operating systems out there. We've talked to high-volume players who say that Hold'em Manager holds up better with multiple tables open, but try out both to see which one you prefer. The bottom line, however, is that you need a tracking program in order to be successful. How else will you know if you're raising too much in early position with low pairs? How else will you know that your opponent voluntarily puts money into the pot 20% of the time?

It's no coincidence that PokerSoftware.com users have rated both Hold'em Manager and PokerTracker high. In fact, the former boasts the top mark on the site at 4.71 out of 5; PokerTracker comes in at just over 4.00. Another highly rated program is Poker Office, which is currently in the midst of developing a new version. SharkScope and Hand HQ both rank high as well. If you're concerned that your favorite online poker site may frown upon you using certain types of software, never fear. We've noted, to the best of our abilities, which programs are banned by which rooms.

If you're a Mac player, then check out Poker Copilot, which is one of the only programs we offer here on PokerSoftware.com that is compatible with an Apple computer without having to use a program like Parallels. A lifetime license to Poker Copilot (regularly $49.99) can be yours for free just for signing up and playing on a massive online poker site.

So do what plenty of other PokerSoftware.com members have done and claim your free poker software today.
