Holdem Manager Updates to Version 1.08 Beta 23

We've got great news for Omaha players! This edition is the official launch of the public beta for Holdem Manager with Omaha. Users are warned that this is still a beta and that the full version of HEM 1.08 with Omaha support and the Table Scanner is slated for release in the coming weeks.

Otherwise, here are some of the highlights of the latest update to the popular tracking program:

- Fixed errors with importing Hold’em and Omaha hands from Prima
- Removed the PokerStars four-man heads-up tournament auto-detection and required users to manually enter in information.
- Players tab will now filter the stakes as you change the Hold’em/Omaha/Omaha O8 selection to show stakes matching the type
- Fixed bug regarding import of Omaha hands from Absolute Poker
- Fixed error with importing PartyPoker hands for Omaha High-Low
- Fixed iPoker bug with importing Omaha hands
- Fixed the River Called CBet and River Raised CBet filters that were causing an error
- Added full support for the new Pacific Poker client
- Added additional support to track Bodog tournament results
- Added additional support to track Everest tournament results
- Tourney Results tab now uses the Game Type drop-down
- Added Auto-Scan
- Added the Poker Game for scoring and colors
- Public Beta of Omaha support

Clearly, the biggest new feature is the ability to import hands from Omaha or Omaha High-Low across most of the poker rooms that HEM supports. As usual, the guys at Holdem Manager are constantly adding new features and fixing small bugs to keep their program the smoothest-working in the industry. Users of Holdem Manager (especially those still using 1.07) should definitely try out this new Omaha support since it’s really fun to use and works pretty well. Otherwise, waiting for the full new edition (presumably 1.09) on might be the wiser move. A separate version of Holdem Manager Omaha does not seem likely at this time.
