Poker Copilot 2 is the latest incarnation of the Mac-friendly hand history tracking program.  Poker Copilot 2 is touted as an easy-to-use software solution to keep statistics on not only yourself, but also opponents you play against.  On top of all the stats and results, the software produces a Heads Up Display (HUD) in order to give real-time information on opponents.  The good news is that Poker Copilot 2 is now fully compatible with Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars.

The Mac-only tracking analysis software installs onto your computer with relative ease.  Users curious about Poker Copilot 2 can take advantage of the no obligation 30-day free trial.  To install the software, simply download it, open up the DMG file, and double click on the installer.  From there, drag the Poker Copilot 2 icon into your Applications folder.  Once copied over, double click and it will self-install from there. If you have the older version, it'll automatically import your old settings.

To take advantage of using Poker Copilot 2 with PokerStars, a user first needs to make sure that PokerStars is saving hand histories to the hard drive.  From the Options menu inside the PokerStars client, make sure "Save My Hand Histories" is checked.  Also, make sure "Keep Hand Histories" is set to 365 days.  In Poker Copilot 2, just click on the "Automatically Detect Casinos" button and the program will auto-find PokerStars and configure it for importing.

This software is the best possible solution for Mac users when it comes to displaying an HUD and keeping stats.  Clearly, the most influential feature on your game will be the HUD, which can display up to 12 stats simultaneously for each player.  The stats are updated in real-time after every hand and imported into the database.

Integration with the PokerStars table software is nearly seamless.  Once you fire up a table and have Poker Copilot 2 running, the stats will overlay on the table after the first hand is imported.  The HUD bubble for each player can be moved by right clicking and dragging it.  The HUD is extremely clean and doesn't overpower the popular artwork and layout of the PokerStars table themes.

The program is based off of an SQL database and, even though it may not be quite as fast as it once was, it still moves very quickly and without headaches.  Importing a large number of hands might take some time, similarly to PokerTracker 3 or Holdem Manager, but for the most part, you won't notice any delays.  The program can handle hundreds of thousands of hands imported from either Full Tilt Poker or PokerStars.

All in all for PokerStars users playing on a Mac, using Poker Copilot is an absolute no-brainer.  The quick installation, free 30 day trial, and seamless integration with PokerStars make it a fantastic hand history tracking program to employ.  The software is priced reasonably at $59.99 and, for users of Poker Copilot 1, there's a competitive upgrade price of just $29.99.  With the 30 day trial and a 30 day money-back promise, there's plenty of incentive to be playing on the world's largest poker site, PokerStars, armed with Poker Copilot 2.
