PokerTracker Now Supports Rush Poker

Rush Poker is the newest game that is sweeping online poker by storm.  Found exclusively at Full Tilt Poker, the game allows a player to join a large pool and move from table to table after every hand.  The fast-paced nature of Rush Poker is popular with recreational and professionals alike because they can immediately “Quick Fold” their hand to move on to the next one.

The folks at PokerTracker have tirelessly been working for an update for Rush Poker and recently came up with a major release that has a ton of new features, changes, and fixes.  Officially dubbed Beta 30.2 Release, the patch can be downloaded for free from the PokerTracker website.  The patch file is available for Windows XP, Vista, and 7 in addition to the OS X.  The file is 10.8 MB for the Windows edition and 7.8 MB for Mac.  The big announcement with this update was a fully functioning Heads-Up Display (HUD) for Rush Poker.

On the PokerTracker forums discussing the latest update, the team said, “This beta was delayed a bit longer than we hoped…  We weren’t satisfied in giving silly stats in exported notes or to make you look up your opponents manually.  We wanted to give you exactly what you have on every other table you play on… We succeeded in bringing you the first real-time updating HUD for Rush Poker.”

The HUD for PokerTracker within Rush Poker works the same as it would for any other tournament or cash game.  There were a few caveats, however, outlined by the development team.  First, with the release of Beta 30.2, there are no session stats or hero stats available.  Also, you will not be able to mark hands for review via the HUD.  All player notes will need to be added quickly (before the players change) and mucked hands do not display.  Outside of those few points, the HUD is completely functional.  For those of you using Full Tilt Poker table or card mods, the update has not been tested against any, so use at your own risk.  Mac users will unfortunately not be able to use the Rush Poker feature at this time.

The Omaha add-on is almost complete for PokerTracker as well.  The notes in the release state that every site has Omaha support except Bodog.  The notes also state that they didn’t get a lot of Omaha hand histories to test with, so there might be occasions where hands won’t import.  In addition, any users that encounter such issues should alert the support team.

Here are some of the highlights from the latest release:

Additions:
· Custom Stats: convert stats
