PokerHandScout Adapts to Full Tilt Poker Update

PokerHandScout is a data mining service that sells hand histories to be imported into utilities like PokerTracker and Holdem Manager.  These hand histories are loaded into databases for players to beef up the depth of the statistics they have, which are then shown in a Heads-Up Display (HUD).  The site, which offers bulk and subscription-based purchase methods, recently updated its data mining capabilities to be compatible with the most recent Full Tilt Poker update.  Visit PokerHandScout.

Currently, the site offers hands from PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, the iPoker Network, PartyPoker, and the CEREUS Network.  The databases that will support the hand histories received from PokerHandScout include PokerTracker 2 and 3, Holdem Manager, PokerStrategy Elephant, and Poker Office.  At this time, the site grabs hands from Fixed Limit and No Limit Texas Hold’em tables and Pot Limit Omaha games.

The two types of purchases available are bulk and retail.  The retail option is the daily subscription service that allows a player to get direct delivery of hand histories for the month, received each day via an e-mail link or through custom software.  This method is best used by players looking to keep their databases as current as possible.  On the other side of the coin, the bulk option will bring in the latest number of hands a player wants.  Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll get a download link and can download your bulk hand history purchase.

For players who are just jumping into a new game or new level, buying the bulk hand histories makes the most sense.  You can immediately catch up to everyone else and instantly have reads on players you sit down with.  When you decide to purchase a bulk hand history file, you get to see a distribution graph so you can see how far back that number of hands goes in terms of the date.  For example, if you only wanted 300,000 hands, it would go back a few days, while getting five million hands would go back as far as a few months.  Pricing for bulk hand history purchases is highly competitive at PokerHandScout, with one million hands costing $46.  If you want to purchase five million hands, the price is $125.

If you already have plenty of hands in your database and simply want to refresh it on a daily basis, then the retail purchase will be for you.  The first step is to decide which game you wish to receive hands for, No Limit Hold’em, Fixed Limit Hold’em, or Pot Limit Omaha.  From there, you will be taken to a screen that will allow you to pick the stakes and site you want hands from.  Pricing is not affected by your decision to pick hands from heads-up, six-max, or full ring games.  Once you have made your decision, enter your e-mail address and any comments you need to put in to place the order.

Payments on PokerHandScout.com are accepted via MoneyBookers, PayPal, WebMoney, and Neteller.  All purchases require 12 hours to process, but oftentimes take much less time to fulfill.  Customers are highly recommended to check their e-mail accounts to make sure they will not exceed their storage limit.

To receive your hand histories, you can also use the PokerHandClient application that can download and extract the hand histories for you.  Simply download the application, enter your account details, and the client will do the rest.  You can even leave it on autopilot mode and the software will automate the tasks so you don’t have to worry about it.
