We offer a bevy of programs here on PokerSoftware.com, but very few are more critical to your success on the felts than Poker Push Bot. The program uses fundamental mathematical theory to help you determine whether to push or fold in MTTs and sit and gos. Poker Push Bot utilizes an easy-to-understand color-coded system where red means stop and green means go. PokerSoftware.com sat down with Poker Push Bot officials to discuss why you need this affordable program.

PokerSoftware.com: Thank you for joining us. Tell us what the main difference is between Poker Push Bot and conventional charts.

Poker Push Bot: The biggest difference is the calling ranges. In the standard push bot charts, there are only three calling ranges. We have nine different calling ranges.

PokerSoftware.com: What are the advantages to having more calling ranges?

Poker Push Bot: As the game evolved, the regular charts became outdated. As the game tightens out or as calling and shoving ranges change, it doesn’t have enough breadth. We have three tight, three normal, and three loose positions, so you can fine-tune your decisions a lot more. You’re not missing any calling ranges.

PokerSoftware.com: Did having a wider breadth of calling ranges influence why Poker Push Bot was created in the first place?

Poker Push Bot: When Poker Push Bot first came out, the reason why I adjusted the push bot charts was because the game was getting tighter. The calling ranges weren’t accurate any longer. If you look at the push bot chart’s calling ranges and the hands included, it just didn’t make sense. I sat down with a couple of my friends who are online pros and went over calling hand range groupings with them. These guys are well known and helped me define the calling ranges to make sure they were accurate.

PokerSoftware.com: What feedback did the group of online poker pros give you?

Poker Push Bot: They loved my charts. They wanted me to send my Excel spreadsheet and asked why I wasn’t selling it. They use the program now too.

PokerSoftware.com: What are some of the other differences between Poker Push Bot and conventional charts?

Poker Push Bot: The ease of use. When you’re using push bot charts, you have to have them printed out and posted on your wall or have a pdf and shuffle through it. The ease of use is very plug and play with our program. You can pick different inputs and use the hand matrix to plug in the information easily. I know a ton of people who were using the charts, so I gave them an application that would do that and more.

PokerSoftware.com: Why is push/fold strategy a concept that poker players should care about?

Poker Push Bot: It’s a fundamental part of MTT and sit and go play. Knowing how to play around inflection points is the most important part of sit and go success. It’s pure math and you don’t have to read someone. It seems like a skill that everyone should be doing. However, I would say that the majority of people are playing by feel and not figuring out the math. It’s the easiest part of the game that you can get good at and it’s also the most important part.

PokerSoftware.com: Remind us how affordable Poker Push Bot is.

Poker Push Bot: It’s $15 total for a lifetime license. We’ve done updates to make it available to more regions and countries like updating the currency exchanges so when a European player inputs the amounts, the program can handle it. That’s where the program is starting to explode. A lot of European players are now using it.
