Poker Office 5.5 Released

A new version of Poker Office has been released that improves overall performance and adds new features such as graphs and cards in the Live Window.  The biggest announcement with Poker Office 5.5 is that this new edition makes the program compatible with two new Poker Networks, CEREUS and Pacific Poker.  As an added bonus, with this edition, users will also be able to test out for free the new Beta version of Poker Office Omaha.

The CEREUS Network, which accepts players from the United States, consists of UB.com and Absolute Poker.  According to PokerScout.com, the CEREUS network is the sixth largest in the world and the third largest among sites that accept players from the United States.  Pacific Poker is the 15th largest network in the world, but at this time does not accept players from the USA.

One of the biggest changes being touted with Poker Office 5.5 is the performance difference.  The overall performance of the program has been improved to a significant degree and promises to be noticeable from before.  Poker Office is claiming that the program now loads all data approximately four times faster than the previous version, which represents a gigantic leap forward.

One of the new features in this edition of Poker Office is that you can produce graphs showing your All-In EV, No Showdown Winnings, and Showdown Winnings.  Players often like to look at their All-In EV graph to see how well they are running, or in layman’s terms, how lucky or unlucky they have been over the graph’s range.  With No Showdown and Showdown winnings, players can extrapolate leaks and find a way to improve their game.

Another great new feature is that Poker Office 5.5 features four unique sets of cards to use in the Live Tracker Window.  Users will easily be able to switch between them through a dialog window that has four buttons with an example of each deck to the right.  Simply pick which one you like the best and hit the “OK” button.

At the same time, perhaps the biggest announcement of all was that with the new release of Poker Office, the development team is welcoming users to join in and beta test the Omaha edition.  Just start up Poker Office as you normally would and you’ll have the option to select “Omaha” in the top right corner.  Users are reminded that this edition of Poker Office Omaha is in Beta and not a complete program.  The team is accepting any feedback that they can receive, so feel free to send in your bug reports and comments.

Poker Office is a software tool that helps you keep track of all your opponents’ actions at the tables as well as your own.  It also keeps track of stats and results by importing in hand histories generated by online poker sites.  The software automatically calculates odds, opponent stats, and graphs.

The “Live Game Tracking” tracks players at your table and displays pot odds and probabilities.  The real-time Heads-Up Display (HUD) is an overlay that produces statistics based on player actions.  Poker Office also features a hand replayer, extended graphs, advanced filtering, player notes, and detailed statistics.

PokerOffice has a yearly license fee of $99.
