For those players who grind it out at the world’s largest poker site, PokerStars, the rewards program can be the most lucrative in the business. For players who make SuperNova, the second highest rewards level, it can mean anywhere from 33% to 46% rakeback. It’s that reason that so many players grind out 16, 20, or even the maximum 24 cash game tables or plenty more if they are tournament grinders. But what’s the best way to keep track of your pace and potential income with Frequent Player Points (FPPs)? Enter a new software program called FPP Pro Plus.
The site has been a favorite of online poker regulars for a while, but the folks at FPPPro.com have really outdone themselves with this one. FPP Pro Plus is available for $15 and promises to quickly solve the common “What if” questions related to your VPP/FPP chase at PokerStars. For many players, understanding their actual take-home pay means the difference between working a 9-5 job and becoming a pro. Without understanding the rewards system properly, you can’t make that type of life-changing decision.
The program has hands calculations that will tell you the overall hands required at each limit given a VPP goal. It will tell you the average hands per day required to reach said goal and you can customize it with your own VPP/hand rate and time frame. Finally, FPP Pro Plus will even tell you how many hours or days are needed to hit your goal.
Another tab in FPP Pro Plus is called “MultiTabling Analysis,” which examines your hourly earnings report broken down by number of tables. It will display an approximation of hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly earnings. All of the features including the hours per day, hours per week, and hours per month are customizable. You can further customize it by adding your own win-rate.
Furthering the depth of the program is the “FPP Calculator/Custom VPP Pace” section. This will convert FPPs to Dollars based on VIP Cash Bonuses. It can report remaining days in the year and the month and calculate VPPs per day and VPPs per week required to attain a personal goal. FPP Pro Plus will also do the conversions necessary to figure out how many FPPs will be earned for a given VPP goal.
Tournament players will find plenty to see in the “MTT & SNG RB/VPP” area. There, overall games and average games per day required to reach a goal are calculated and reported. FPP Pro Plus will display a table based on your VPP goal with various rake levels and their paces. Finally, it will approximate the VPPs per hour, day, week, and month given a game type, stakes, and number of tables.
FPP Pro Plus is available from FPPPro.com as a digital download for Windows computers for a nominal fee of $15 and payment is made through a PayPal transaction. On the site, you will find an “About” section in addition to a helpful “Features” page, which includes an instructional video. FPP Pro Plus is on the PokerStars list of acceptable tools, so you can use the program knowing you are staying within the boundaries of the Terms of Service.
Currently, FPPProPlus is at Version 1.21 and there are even more features that will be coming soon, as it is continually updated.
