Create Virtual Poker Chips with iPokerChips

Author: Sean Gibson

You’re stuck in a hotel with some friends and have a couple of hours to kill.  Sure, you’ve got a deck of cards that you picked up in the lobby, but without chips, you can’t play a decent game of poker.  Naturally, your friend comes up with the inventive theory of writing on small sheets of paper to represent chips, which everyone laughs at.  What if there was an application for your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad that could be your virtual chipset wherever you go?

Enter a new app called iPokerChips, which is now available from within Apple’s App Store.  The application goes beyond just providing virtual poker chips and will also define player profiles for everyone at the table.  No longer will you resort to a MacGyver-like adventure of creating poker chips out of hotel room sheets of toilet paper with this application at your disposal.

The program comes from developers that worked on games such as Tom Clancy’s “Rainbow Six” and “Splinter Cell,” so they know the mobile gaming market better than most.  iPokerChips allows you to play poker wherever you might take a deck of cards and supports two to 10 players at a time.  The interface is very easy to use and can even help beginning poker players understand the rules and count the pot.

Both sit and gos and cash games are supported within iPokerChips.  There are saved stats on all of the players, with profiles set by the program to tag competitors as “Killer,” “Maniac,” “Rock,” or “Calling Station.”  If you get interrupted, there’s even a save game feature so you can resume at another time.  iPokerChips supports seven languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, and Chinese.

iPokerChips costs $0.99 for iPhone and iPod Touch devices, while it is $2.99 for the iPad edition.

When you start up a game, you can enter the number of players and the number of chips per player.  You’ll then play your hands with the cards you have in front of you, as the program does not offer dealing of any sort.  Every player enters their action and plays the hand out, entering the amount they want to bet or call for each street.  For each player, there’s an interface with a racetrack-like table that you’re sure to be familiar with.  Within each box are a small face avatar, their name, their chip count, and the action they took on that street of the hand.

There are even stats that display a player’s call percentage, raise percentage, pre-flop raise percentage, and fold percentage.  There are other stats and profile information available from this section, which gives a really interesting insight into how you and your friends have been playing.

The app was released on September 30th and hasn’t gotten feedback yet from within the App Store.  But, based on the features and interface, as well as the very low cost to buy the app, it seems like a great investment.

Guys: What are you conversation clues you want to get back with your ex-girlfriend?You are breokn up with her for FIVE years. How would you ask her indirectly if there was a place in her life for you currently? The point is you cannot come out and say > Hey I wanna get back together! You have to draw the information out with a series of questions.

I noticed most poker plareys use a binder clip or a rubber band for their money clip. I designed a money clip for poker plareys. It will hold 75 bills for a large bank roll, and stores cards on the opposite side. Your drivers license can be seen without removing it from the Dough Holder. Use code 2+2 for a $5 discount.

Yea it doesn't matter what we tell you booegtsr, obey your rules, etc blah blah. When trading, your opponent is you. You played against yourself and lost. Concentrate on making back that 9.5k SLOWLY and you'll be okay. You got alot more disciplined in recent months, save for this last week.

Looking at this list really makes me feel out of touch with puaolpr culture. Not that I use Facebook that much to begin with, but this list makes me come to the stark realization that my interests largely do not coincide with the rest of society, as represented by Facebook likes. http://ivajvyce.com gevbnhrzat [link=http://cvwqcbmb.com]cvwqcbmb[/link]

Best way to describe a poker game is by diciebrng the players What kinds of players are at the table?Aggressive players raising alot being the bullys at the tableCalling station players who call alot always in the pot with almost any two cardsTight players who only play good handsThen the Professional whos neither too aggressive, too passive or too looseThen you can explain how these players are feelingHave they been playing for a long time long session Are some players losing alot of moneyAre some people "tilting" or angry and playing badlyIs there a really annoying player at the table, making fun of other peopleHeres an example of a game i was playing a couple days ago I sat down at a table where everyone had decent stacks but one player started winning everything he was a calling station he'd call all ins with overcards to a low board, he'd call all in with 2nd pair on the board, but he got hit with the deck and he won every single one he ended up with 17 buyins in front of him he was involved almost in every hand with everyone besides me The player to my right was solid at first but before he got a bad beat from the "Elephant" (a term coined by hellmuth describing a calling station) he was so steam so tilted i saw him call on the river with 10 high without even thinkingTo me i found the game so juicy that i was about to leave but that elephant and everyone on the table steaming got me glued to my chair i wanted to play as long as they were there and i had money in front of me The bad thing was i didnt get any cards untill i got the best hand i've seen in a hour 88 s mr elephant was there in the pot with me it comes 765 he bets big i put everything i had in the middle he calls me quicker than me with a girls phone number He ended up with 34 and felted me lol but at least i had this story to tell:DI got another example it was a game i was playing yesterday Utg (under the gun, first person to act after the big blind) limps in, i limp in SB (small blind) with Ad8c BB checks, comes 9sKs3c i check, other two plays check check, Turn comes Kh (9s Ks 3c Kh) i bet out 4 into 6 BB folds, Utg MINIMUM RERAISES to 8 This is where things start racing in my head i go to myself "why didn't he bet the king if has a king on the flop he was last to act""what about BB is he going to go overthetop no why would he check to me with a king""so im 90% sure he doesn't have a king, would he minimum thinking in bluffing with a 9? why would he check a 9 would he bluff me with a 3 ""I need more information, im going to call and see what he does on the river"I call him, comes 2c (9s Ks 3c Kh 2c) i check he bets 10 into 24 (abouts) and im thinking "why is he betting 10, is my ace high good""a 10 looks like a value bet does he want me to think that he thinks he valuing betting""why would he value bet a 9 in this spot, im 90% sure he doesn't have a king so that rules out KKK, and why would he value bet a 3 or a 2 or some 1010 or 88 hand this doesn't make sense"So i make the call with Ace high and he shows J10 he says "Bad Call"I don't say anything but just smile and laugh to myself;D References : Was this answer helpful? http://mdvlcjj.com uuwrupbhupv [link=http://vbozev.com]vbozev[/link]

The AA vs. 44 vs. 67 Is rigegd in more ways that just one. You look at it as the site being rigegd for you right? That's True But look at sue2001 She would of river'd the Straight on top of the 4 making the other player in the hand a Set. That's the truly rigegd part of that hand and it's 2 over the top for no1 to think this could happen so frequently live you know .I hate people so bad that go you should play live man this ain't shit Come on how? dumb are some ppl????? http://jmjkcqebu.com sudetuxitcq [link=http://hdwavdati.com]hdwavdati[/link]

The Quotes Chimp appears much deeper to the numbers, when your useful type is pinpointed. Grounded on the sort of policy contract being wanted as well as the group required, the underwriter may discover exactly what the common expectations of reduction will soon be inside the group. For instance, in certain neighborhood, five properties might be anticipated to combust annually. As we will shortly notice, these records is very important in environment costes.

Where should QuotesChimp begin? According to an old Chinese proverb, the longest journey begins with a single step. The first step in becoming a wise insurance consumer is to understand the nuts and bolts of how insurance works.
