If you aren't familiar with the program, Poker-Edge is an online database that players can use to see stats on their opponents. Through its data mining, Poker-Edge already contains billions of hands and gathers around 10 million new ones per day. Poker-Edge is a subscription-based system where users can pay per month or per year to access it. There are three subscriptions available to users:

Micro Subscription – For micro-stakes players in No Limit cash games up to $0.05/$0.10 and Limit cash games up to $0.50/$1. There is no access for tournament data.

Silver Subscription – For low-stakes cash game and tournament players. This subscription covers No Limit cash games up to $0.25/$0.50 and Limit cash games up to $3/$6. It also covers all tournaments.

Gold Subscription – Grants access to all limits of No Limit cash games, Limit cash games, and tournaments.

One of the most popular features that Poker-Edge offers its users is their own Heads-Up Display (HUD) that will automatically recognize opponents and display key statistics. These days, almost all players are using HUDs in order to make key decisions during game play and more effectively multi-table cash games and tournaments.

The HUD also updates relevant statistics during a hand’s progression from pre-flop to the flop, turn, and river, giving the most important data in real-time. Overall, the HUD offers over 200 different statistics. Unlike other popular HUDs, Poker-Edge also offers useful stats such as pot odds and outs, information that can be very handy for beginning players who can’t calculate that information very fast.

Another popular and very profitable tool Poker-Edge offers when used correctly is its Table Finder. This tool allows users to select what game they wish to play by entering criteria such as site, stakes, limit, and number of seats and then the program instantly lists all games going based on their selection.

For example, if a player selects, PokerStars, Full Ring, and No Limit games with blinds of $0.25/$0.50, the software will populate all games meeting those options and place them in order of their own scoring system. The scoring system is based on the statistics Poker-Edge holds.  It recognizes the weakest players on a table and assigns them a high score. So, if you find a table with nine seats and seven contain losing players, the table will be given a high score, indicating it will be a profitable table to play at. Used effectively, this tool can mean great results for any player that pays attention to the data and selects their games correctly.

The player report is also one of Poker-Edge’s most popular features. These reports allow users to see data on individual players including their overall graphs, what stakes they play, their results, how many players they sit with, what times they have played, and their showdown results. This section also contains a hand replayer.

Poker-Edge recently added support for the Ongame Network, which covers poker rooms like Betsafe, bwin, Hollywood Poker, Poker Loco, RedKings, and Eurobet. The Ongame Network has around 45,000 members playing concurrently across all of their poker sites. The addition of the Ongame Network opens the door to Poker Edge gathering a lot of new customers and turning even more fish into sharks.
