CardRunners Now Offering Free Table Mods

Table mods, otherwise known as table modifications, are a great tool for those who multi-table and need a utilitarian interface to accommodate something like a bulk Heads-Up Display (HUD). Many of the more stylish and intricate tHEMes aren’t free, with some costing around $10 to $20 for the card deck or table graphics. However, the popular poker training site CardRunners recently introduced table themes for members at absolutely no cost.

CardRunners released its newest table themes for PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, which are now live on TiltBuster and available for all CardRunners members. In order to get the mods, you must visit the CardRunners forum and request the password to receive the free mods. Once you get it, head over to TiltBuster and add the CardRunners table mods to your shopping cart. Once you enter the correct password, you won’t be charged a penny and can download and install the theme right away.

Both of the mods are fully compatible with Table Ninja and include multiple tHEMes. The backgrounds include a gradient shade of various colors, including the CardRunners blue that the site’s logo prominently features. There are also colored notes available at Full Tilt Poker that highlight around a betting box for each player. There is even a special “Final Table” background for those who make a final table of a tournament.

The latest version of the mod for PokerStars is 1.5.2011.0 and the latest for Full Tilt is 1.14.2011.0, which fixed an installer issue and fixed time positioning. Card and chip mods are not included with the table theme mod. The mod is compatible with all Windows editions of PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker; Mac users might want to contact its designer, Bar Nuthin, to see if there are any available mods for Mac systems.

If you haven’t already joined CardRunners, you can earn free poker training if you play at Full Tilt Poker, even if you already have an account. Head to TrulyFreePokerTraining.com and click on “Continue” or “Free Training Sign-Up.” For those who already have a CardRunners account, hit “Continue” and you’ll be taken to a page that explains that this deal does not affect rakeback, MGR, FTPs, or any other benefits. Step 1 is entering your CardRunners user name and email address. After that, you’ll put in your Full Tilt Poker name.

If you obtain 5,500 Full Tilt Points in one month, you’ll get one free month of unlimited CardRunners benefits. There are also partial memberships available in 25% increments. You can receive one, two, or three weeks of free training. To do that, simply divide the total by four to determine the weekly requirement. If you already have paid for CardRunners training, your credit card on file will be charged as usual on your renewal date. Any free membership received extends your renewal date by the appropriate amount of time earned.

CardRunners is one of the largest and most successful poker training sites out there. I would think that you should go down to the clsoset casino and sit down at a poker table and play. Once you can do that and make enough money to live off without working an outside job then you will be a pro. Winning the main event at the WSOP doesn't make you a pro. It doesn't hurt but it doesn't make you a pro.BTW playing online allows you to get a lot of experience in a short period of time.

Since I didn't know the people inlevvod beforehand, I kept expecting the conclusion to be that Griffin died at the end or was seriously injured especially with the somber tone taken throughout the story. His account was very well written and should become a movie. He really put himself in a lose-lose situation. The only two options were to talk him out of it or trust he knows his body and join his side of the betting. He also definitely should have taken the buy put bet once he got that far I doubt he would have quit before the end.

I really don't think its that big of a deal. As they meoenintd, CR would have issues with how people played against pros (watch the hyper aggressive, deepstack theory in their current free video) so they let them have temp-alt account to do that. That is controlled and people are being given something back. This has a bit of over-hype on it...possibly. True, it is not a new observation that there is an unlathehy aspect to the world of poker, for it is akin to gambling in general. Nor is there anything earth-shattering when one discovers the potential for disaster only to set it aside and "get back on that bull." Glory, action, peeny-waggin', call the motivations what you want, but when it has someone by the short hairs, there's nothing heroic about it.
