The tracking and analysis program PokerTracker 3 is one of the original pieces of online poker software whose innovations helped revolutionize the industry.  The program, which boasts a full suite of features designed to help track and improve your game, has consistently been one of the highest rated in history.  As part of its commitment to the product, its development team continues releases updates at an average of twice a month.

These releases are first available in Beta format, but are typically stable and recommended for most users, especially ones who might be plagued by issues that are caused by poker room updates.  If there are ever any issues when using a Beta edition, users can post in the PokerTracker forums or submit a support ticket.

Version 3.09.01 Beta was released on January 26th and Everleaf was added as a new supported site.  There were also a number of import issues resolved with this Beta update.  For Full Tilt Poker players, import issues regarding Multi-Entry tournaments, Rush hand histories from the hand history request tool, a problem with table “Play” summaries not importing, summary with player names including the word “Satellite,” and Adrenaline Rush Poker table issues were resolved.

PokerStars had three import issues resolved: summary import/tournament detect conflicts, Home Games support, and ignoring “wins an entry” text in the hand history.  At Pacific Poker, preferred seating options and “Treat As” were updated to match the latest client.  Winamax players had an issue fixed involving content in the hero name field that would cause a crash.

Outside of some other minor fixes for import issues, HUD issues were also resolved.  At PokerStars, the HUD issue was resolved for it jumping to detached controls.  At Winamax, the six-max support and side bar support were resolved.  At Merge, the window location problem was taken care of and a global issue with the HUD crashing when player positions were not properly relayed was resolved.

Finally, TableTracker had two issues resolved, with Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars tables now opening up properly.

Version 3.09.02 Beta was released a few days later and addressed a few more fixes.  The first was for the Hand Viewer, where it wouldn’t show equity when villain cards were unknown.  At Ongame, import errors with the blinds and a problem when the big blind was all-in for less than the small blind were also addressed.  Finally, the HUD for Bodog was updated in order to fix the issue with it not finding the lobby on non-English operating systems.

The most recent Beta release was 3.09.03, which came out on February 4th.  The Yatahay Network was added so that TruePoker and DoylesRoom players could import their hands.  More import issues were resolved, mainly at iPoker, where a reverted change that broke the tournament HUD was fixed along with a currency problem when importing hands from iPoker’s hand history function.

Also included in the 3.09.03 edition were fixes for stats, specifically the amount won in the Omaha section and the columns that allow for heads-up position.  The HUD was also given some attention to resolve issues involving Bodog (always on top option for a disappearing HUD), Full Tilt (not finding Matrix tournament tables) and the hand replayer (problems caused by the replayer changing the title).

All Beta update releases are available absolutely free for registered users of PokerTracker 3.  Simply head over to the PokerTracker website to download the 13.2 MB file.  If you haven’t already checked out PokerTracker 3, which will track hands for all Hold’em and Omaha games at both cash and tournament tables, take a look at how you can get it free through PokerSoftware.com.
