At the core of Holdem Manager are a hand history reader and stat compiler with a Heads-Up Display (HUD) for when you play at the tables.  Beyond that, it is a robust tracking and analysis program that is armed with a slate of high-quality applications that increase your productivity at the tables and your learning process away from them.  Recently, the team behind the program made several important announcements.

The first major announcement from Holdem Manager was the addition of Leak Buster Omaha.  This add-on application for Holdem Manager will allow PLO players to identify major leaks in their game utilizing 71 filters.  Once you find leaks and see where you can improve, there are videos available inside of the program that demonstrate how to plug the leaks in your game.

Leak Buster Omaha can also analyze leaks by position and find your troublesome hands.  There’s a graphical analysis section as well as a way to spotlight villains who give you the most problems.  Finally, as you play more hands, the plug-in will track your progress.

Another recent announcement from Holdem Manager is that the program is now the official hand converter for TwoPlusTwo.  A thread on TwoPlusTwo discusses the announcement and goes over the features of the new hand converter.  Most people use hand converters for showing particular hands for people to critique.  The new converter will let you post hands directly to Twitter and also offers a cutting-edge replayer.

The last announcement is that Holdem Manager now supports Home Games on PokerStars.  Home Games allow you to start your own real or play money poker club for you and your friends in a private setting.  You can arrange private tournaments and have a private cash game table ready to go whenever you want it.  Now, Holdem Manager will track all of the hands from these games.

There’s also some exciting news from Holdem Manager about several currently unreleased features.  According to the official blog for the Holdem Manager community, “B-Money” has stated that the Table Ninja team is working on support for another site and that this release is very close to being complete.

Currently, Table Ninja supports the top two poker sites in the industry in terms of player counts, PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.  The next largest poker site is the iPoker Network, followed closely by PartyPoker.  The next largest network that accepts USA players is the CEREUS Network.  It’s a strong bet that one of these three is this mystery poker site.

Holdem Manager is part of our Recommended Software program. If you haven’t checked it out already, you can visit our review, which covers all of the features and benefits the program offers.  Holdem Manager is also part of our Free Software program, which will let you get it completely free.
