If you haven't heard by now, Full Tilt Poker recently released an upgrade to its client providing new improvements and changes in six different areas.  Players are met with a variety of new options, which include requesting private tournaments and a customized account history, a new options dialog and custom bet buttons, new ring game tickets, and improvements in the game lobby menu.  Here’s a breakdown of what’s new on Full Tilt Poker:

Ring Game Tickets

Now, players can use their Full Tilt Points (FTPs) to purchase a Ring Game Ticket instead of a limiting their FTPs to just tournament play.  The Ring Game Tickets are an alternate way to buy into your favorite rings games, with each Ring Game Ticket holding a cash value that changes based on your play at the tables. Ring Game Tickets can be purchased from the Full Tilt Store and the Iron Man Store.

Request Private Tournaments

With a new Request Private Tournaments feature, players can create their own customizable tournaments on Full Tilt Poker.  The tournament creation wizard makes it simple to select the game, the structure, the time, and who is allowed to enter.  It’s a great way to set up almost instant tournaments, where you no longer have to e-mail Full Tilt to have tournaments requested.  You can select Request Private Tournaments from the Requests menu in the game lobby or from your own My Tournaments page through the Cashier.

Game Lobby Menu Improvements

The most significant changes in the software upgrade came from improvements to the Game Lobby.  The Game Lobby Menu Bar has been reorganized to make it easier to access features and manage settings.  There are nine menus at the top of the Game Lobby:

Account: Access and change your account information

Cashier: This menu has been expanded to provide access to a number of features such as depositing and withdrawing funds, player-to-player transfers, bonuses, and single-click deposit settings

Security: Access to security settings

Options: Players can now manage lobby and table settings, from the lobby view to table layout and general preferences

Requests: Access information such as tournament history and bonus offers

Languages: Access your language options

Promotions: The new menu gives direct access to a selection of popular promotions as well as the All Promotions and My Promotions pages.  The Refer a Friend and Announcements features have also been moved to this menu.

Help: The Help menu allows you to contact customer support for assistance.  You can also find information on new features and table hotkeys in this menu.

New Options Dialog

The new Options dialog allows management of your table layout settings as well as the card deck, avatar display, and chat options.  In addition, you can manage your game play from the Options menu, adjust your settings and general preferences, and manage your lobby settings.

Custom Bet Buttons

An exciting new feature allows players to customize the bet buttons on the bet slider at the table.  Players can choose the bet sizes that they want for No Limit and Pot Limit games, both pre-flop and post-flop.  By selecting the Options dialog and then Table Options and Custom Bet Buttons, players can alter their settings to select the multipliers that suit their game from the dropdown menus or type them directly into the boxes.

The pre-flop bet sizes are in multiples of the big blind and can be set for both No Limit and Pot Limit games, while the post-flop bet sizes are percentages of the pot size.

Request Account History

Players can now request customized statements from their Account History directly through the game software.  The Account History will generate a report of your transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and adjustments), ring games, tournaments, Rush Poker, and promotional payments.  They can then be filtered by real money, Tournament Dollars, and tickets and then adjusted based on a specified time range.
