If you haven’t been by Tournament Poker Edge to see what’s new recently, then you may have missed out on some of the greatest training videos available in the marketplace.  Tournament Poker Edge consistently puts out quality material at a time when online poker players need the training most and helps the community find the best ways to approach tournaments online, effectively manage their bankrolls, and get useful tips.

Recently, Tournament Poker Edge had two pros to its team of instructors as well as a host of new videos that will be to the liking of any online tournament poker player.

Lee Childs made headlines in the poker industry in 2007 when he made the final table of the Main Event of the World Series of Poker, finishing in seventh place for $705,229.  Since then, Childs has amassed a total of more than $1.1 million in total live tournament earnings to go along with the more than $1.3 million online.  His largest online score came in the November 2010 Full Tilt Online Poker Series Main Event, where Childs finished in fifth place for $144,511.

Childs joins the Tournament Poker Edge team of instructors and documents every hand that he plays with his expert commentary in that FTOPS Main Event in a seven-part series, giving key insights on how to best navigate large tournament fields and showing how he found his way to a six-figure score online.  All seven parts of the series are now available to members of Tournament Poker Edge.

Continuing to add to the impressive team of players to learn from, Tournament Poker Edge bolstered its remarkable stable by also welcoming high-stakes online tournament pro Nikolai “Halowax” Spears.  A regular at the richest tournaments online, Spears holds more than $1.2 million in online tournament winnings and provides a two-part series on Pot Limit Omaha tournaments for viewers.  The series aims to improve players with expert analysis of a game that continues to grow in popularity.

One of the most popular and recognizable instructors on the Tournament Poker Edge team is Casey “bigdogpckt5s” Jarzabek, who had issued a challenge to the members of the site’s forum.  Jarzabek aimed to win the April leaderboard contest on Absolute Poker.  The chase for the top of the leaderboard became extremely close in the end, as Jarzabek fell just shy of the top spot and finished in second by just a few points.

The entire process was documented in a six-part series now available on Tournament Poker Edge, as Jarzabek walks you through a live sweat of his journey.

With so many U.S. players looking for alternatives to play online poker, many have begun rebuilding their online poker bankrolls on alternate sites that are still accepting U.S. customers.

Following that trend, Tournament Poker Edge instructor Shaun “Cougars4444” Hendrickson documents a live sweat for players looking to make a new deposit online, as he analyzes some of the more profitable low-stakes games and how to approach them. Players will watch how a pro approaches a new site, finds opportunities to make profitable plays, and increases their online bankroll through proper game selection.
