Poker Office Adds Merge Gaming Network

In a constantly evolving poker software marketplace, keeping up with the demands of consumers is key.  Since the Federal indictments by the Southern District of New York in the United States against 11 defendants and the subsequent shutdown of real money play on the three largest U.S.-facing poker sites, an influx of players have flooded to other sites to continue playing poker online.

Poker tracking programs have not supported many of the sites that remain U.S.-friendly since the demand has been relatively low so far to invest the time and effort necessary to conform to those networks.  But since April 15th, the day marked as Black Friday among those in the online poker industry, those times have changed.

Poker Office heard the call of its customer base and stepped up to the plate in a big way, announcing this month that its data management software is now available on the Merge Gaming Network.  Now, players who throw their chips around on popular sites like Carbon Poker can use Poker Office to track all of their key statistics.

But the news doesn’t end there.  Poker Office continued to answer the call of its consumers when it recently incorporated a highly sought-after statistic that tournament players have been asking for. Now, players using Poker Office can have their stack sizes displayed as the number of big blinds instead of the actual chip count.

For multi-table tournament and sit and go players, determining your stack size in relation to the number of big blinds is the single most important element to consider in the way that you approach a hand.  The “Stack as Big Blinds” display statistic eliminates the guesswork of when it’s the best time to just get it all in.

This simple statistic allows players to automatically view their stack sizes in the way that the pros do and provides additional means to help calculate their tournament “M” as defined in the popular “Harrington on Hold’em” series of books authored by poker legend Dan Harrington.

Finally, Poker Office is running a major campaign through the social media juggernaut Facebook.  Players who visit the Poker Office page on Facebook and select the “Like” feature will be entered into a giveaway where winners will receive two days of Poker Office for free.  The contest couldn’t be any simpler.  Head over to the PokerOffice page, give it a “Like,” and you’ll be entered for a chance to win two days of free Poker Office use.

You can also get Poker Office free through PokerSoftware.com. Just sign up and deposit on a major online poker site like Carbon Poker, PokerStars, PartyPoker, and Full Tilt. Then, complete the play-through requirements. When you do, we’ll ship you a free license to Poker Office, a $138 value. We’ve had plenty of PokerSoftware.com users take advantage of this offer already, so don’t delay.
