If you haven't seen it, PokerTracker continues to release new information on its imminent upgrade from Version 3 to Version 4 through a series of videos on its blog.  The newest video, the second one released overall, focuses on the PokerTracker 4 Vector HUD Engine and Global Graphics.

The video really brings these new features to life, such as common right-click options that are available in every report.  With a simple click of your mouse, you can focus on the Active Player, Configure a Report, View Hand Details, Replay a Hand, Export Hand Histories, and more.

The right click option also allows for a quick way to mark a specific hand using a number of colored tabs so players can make easy reviews and sort their hand histories.  The hands can be color coded in the review section of PT4 or even on the fly while you’re at the tables to let you know which hands you’re looking at later on.

PT4 also allows for a great deal of social interaction by enabling players to export their information to video, which they can then upload to the PokerTracker forums for discussion with their friends or even place on YouTube with a single click of a button.  The same task can be completed for individual hands or entire sessions, allowing you to interface your hand histories seamlessly.

Another fantastic tool that has been added is the ability to view all active tables.  This new feature allows you to see a top-down view of all tables and players while importing hand histories as they happen.  When this feature works with the new Vector HUD Engine, the HUD statistics are positioned under the appropriate players.  In addition, PT4 scales the table HUD stats appropriately as the table grows and shrinks in size.

The new Vector HUD engine will be an incredible help for multi-tablers, especially those who change the size of their tables while playing.  There is no longer a need to manually move around your HUD groups, as PT4 will provide this function for you.  The Vector HUD functions for all of the players at the table or just the hero separately.

The HUD also now allows players to view their stack sizes in the number of big blinds, which refreshes automatically after each hand completes.  All of these new HUD features come with a completely transparent HUD, meaning that you’re no longer required to use a specific background color.

The second part of the video displays the tremendous upgrades made to the PT4 graphs and their functionality.  The graphing systems are already built into PT4, meaning that there will be no need to obtain additional plug-ins or add-on programs.  The graphs offer unique ways to visually identify your sessions and hands and locate problem areas for you and your opponents.

The graphs can show core stats such as VPIP, PFR, and 3Bet%, as well as Went to Showdown% and Won Money at Showdown% and demonstrate how those figures correlate to winning, losing, and breakeven players.

The new global post-flop range chart includes state-of-the-art graphics to illustrate how players respond when they make hands after the flop has been dealt.  The full color graphs provide a street-by-street distribution of the bet sizing of all hands within the database.

Make sure to check out the newest video for PT4 on the program’s preview site, which is open to the general public.  PokerTracker is actively seeking players to review the changes and help make their PT4 database the most player-centric poker software program in the marketplace.
