PokerTracker, dubbed the "Ultimate Online Poker Software" on its official website and utilized by online poker players around the world, released its latest update earlier this month. The update includes a number of key improvements that PokerTracker 3 users will enjoy and be able to implement immediately. In case you missed it, PokerTracker recently announced support for the Cake Poker Network.

A list of key features on the PokerTracker forums shows that support for EverestPoker.fr and PartyPoker.fr tournaments has been improved, plus the jackpot tables at 888 Poker have been added. For players on the French poker sites, this is a significant boost to their ability to have updated information at their fingertips.

PokerTracker 3 users now have the ability to see table averages in the HUD when playing on the Cake Poker Network thanks to the September update and there are a number of updates now in place to support hand histories on Cake, Merge, Ongame, and Winamax.

The PokerTracker automated tournament detection algorithm is now optimized and the dialog messages for Mac OS X users have also been improved.

Along with the improvements included in the September PokerTracker 3 update, a number of fixes have been put in to make the PT3 experience seamless on all online poker sites.

There were a number of import issues that have now been resolved and 888 Jackpot and 10-max tables have been added. EverestPoker.fr tournament prizes are now operational and the PartyPoker.fr tournament buy-ins have been changed.

The issues with masked hero, the possibility of an endless loop, "dealt to" lines locking up, and non-declared player seating have all been addressed in the latest PT3 update, as have the previous Merge Network bugs regarding file reading issues, "hero left hand" and “hand cancelled" errors, and the lack of a description tag for hands where no limits are reported.

Previously, penalty blinds at the Ongame Network were reported as small blinds, but this has now been adjusted. Satellite values and first place prize awarded errors on Winamax are no longer problems following the latest update. The import process on Winamax has also been improved to fix the text when "ante" is part of a player's name.

The new update also includes several new features in the HUD. You can now use table average stats on the Cake Poker Network and, on 888 Poker, you can adjust the default coordinates for nine-handed tables. You can also use the HUD on Merge Network tables that have apostrophes in their names.

In addition, the "T$/Day" column has been changed for stats, as has the formula for "Call PFR" to account for rare missing actions. A revised formula used to calculate "Made Hands" is part of the update as well.

The September 2011 update to PokerTracker 3 includes a fix to the Final Hands report filter and the crashing issue with the replayer on Merge has been addressed in cases where the hand history is incomplete. There have been various fixes implemented to detect tournaments on multiple sites. Plus, the TableTracker table opening option on the Merge Network has been removed.

For Mac users, the GUI firewall message has been changed to refer to OS X specific components and the Backup/Restore dialog text now accounts for PostgreSQL 9.X.

If you're not currently using PokerTracker, it's regarded as one of the elite software packages in the online poker industry and will almost certainly improve the win rate of any aspiring player.
