In an update on the final day of February, the poker datamining site HH Dealer added support for 888. An announcement posted on HH Dealer's blog let the entire poker community know that 888 was the newest site to be supported: "888 (formely known as Pacific Poker) is one of the biggest poker rooms in the world. They're operating from Gibraltar. According PokerScout.com, they have an average of 3,000 cash game players online at a time. Hence, it is very important to have as much information as possible. We are pleased to offer 888 hand histories now."

No Limit Hold'em and Limit Hold'em hand histories from 888 are currently available for purchase. You can buy bulk hand histories or opt for a monthly subscription. For the purposes of this article, we went for the former and searched for $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Six-Max hands on 888.

The poker datamining site appears to be importing about 40,000 such hands every day and began with a vault of over 125,000 back on February 28th. A bulk purchase of 300,000 hands starts at $13. You will receive a download link for the requested hand histories directly to your mailbox.

You can then import your hands into your online poker database, but note that doing so could violate the Terms and Conditions of your favorite room, so be sure to do your due diligence first.

Monthly purchases vary by stake. For 888, $0.05/$0.10 hands will set you back $15 per month, while hands from $0.10/$0.20 to $0.25/$0.50 run $20 per month. Hands from $0.50/$1 to $3/$6 cost between $25 and $30 per month, while $5/$10 hands cost $45 per month. $10/$20 and $15/$30 hands have a monthly price tag of $50. The final stake level available is any game above $15/$30, which costs $60 per month.

HH Dealer's addition of 888 comes just one month after it added Ongame.it to its lineup of supported rooms. 888 was a prime candidate to be supported any way you slice it. According to PokerScout's latest figures, 888 is the fourth largest network in the world and has a seven-day running average of 2,650 real money ring game players with a 24-hour peak of just over 4,100. At the time of writing, which is around 7:30pm ET on a weekday night, about 3,000 cash game players are logged in and seated.

According to PokerScout, 888's cash game traffic is up a comfortable 72% year-over-year. It did not accept U.S. players when Black Friday hit and its parent company is publicly traded.

In November 2011, HH Dealer added PokerStars.it and PokerStars.fr hand histories.

The datamining outfit regularly attempts to match or beat competitors' pricing on hand histories and occasionally goes so far as to offer 25% off if another site offers cheaper hands. HH Dealer supports PartyPoker, the iPoker Network, PokerStars, the Entraction Network, the Merge Gaming Network, and the Ongame Network. Now, 888 joins that prestigious group.

One of the major perks of HH Dealer is that it offers a client for simple and speedy download of your hand histories. After you download the tool, you'll tell it where you store your various hand histories and then search for new hands on HH Dealer's system. You'll then let HH Dealer's client download and unzip your hand histories while you sit and watch. Rather than sift through e-mails and undergo what will undoubtedly be plenty of headaches, HH Dealer's client will do all of the work for you.

HH Dealer's import client also receives constant updates, so it'll be compatible with your preferred online poker room. It requires Microsoft .net 2.0 or higher to use and if you lack that program, you can download it through a link off HH Dealer's website. Check out our HH Dealer review.
