Color Code Like a Champ with ColoringTool

Are you jealous of other players who take good notes and have time to color code their opponents across many online poker sites?  There is a good chance that, especially if they are multi-tablers, they are using a program such as ColoringTool to help them quickly identify the types of players they are up against.

What ColoringTool does is exactly as it describes: it automatically color-codes players based on criteria you have set up.  You instantly have information on players at any table, which will assist you with quick decision-making.

There are two separate ColoringTool licensing options available, each for a reasonable $25 purchase price.  The site is also running a holiday promotion where for a limited time you can purchase either tool for $20.

One of the programs works solely with Official Poker Rankings data to color code your opponents.  This program will work on all sites that Official Poker Rankings supports including PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, PartyPoker, and Ongame.

If you are a tournament player and already use a HUD for statistical purposes, this is a great tool to have, as you will automatically have color-coded which players are sharks and which players are fish and can also rely on your HUD separately for situational decisions.

You have the ability to fully customize the software to color-code your opponents based on criteria you set forth.  You also have the ability to have a pop-up where additional stats from Official Poker Rankings are displayed about your opponents.  This program is fully legal on the sites it is compatible with since Official Poker Rankings allows players to opt out of their tracking services.

The other ColoringTool program works with your statistical database and is compatible with Holdem Manager 1 and 2 as well as PokerTracker 3 and 4.  This tool will automatically color code your player notes on PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, PartyPoker, Ongame, and 888 Poker.

While the information being used to determine your color-coding is already in your HUD, this tool is helpful when playing a ton of tables, which requires quick decision-making.  You don’t have to refer to statistics and can see what type of player you are up against based on what color they are appearing as. If you want to have an idea of how aggressive or tight you should be when you first sit on a new table, this tool is for you.

Lastly, if you are a cash game or sit and go player, you can benefit from the program by seeing what color the players are appearing in the main lobby.  This can save you from entering a game full of sharks.

The statistics available are amount won, hands, BB, VPIP, PFR, 3Bet, Fold to 3Bet, AF, WWSF, WSD, and VPIP to PFR Gap.  You can also use multiple statistics in a mathematical equation to assist with the color-coding criteria.

The program is very easy to use and has a dedicated support thread on Two Plus Two.  If you want to get an upper hand on your note taking, I would consider checking out ColoringTool today.
