Leak Buster Analyzing 100 Million Online Poker Hands

As many of you already know, Leak Buster, which is available for both PokerTracker and Holdem Manager, can help you plug many Texas Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha online cash game leaks you might have.  How?  By going through your hand history database and pointing out where you should be playing more optimally.

Leak Buster was looking for the best way to improve its product to provide the most robust knowledge on your game compared to any program out there on the market.

Its developers decided not to do a simple analysis and instead are currently going through a huge undertaking by analyzing 100 million hands and crunching the statistics from winning players.

100 million hands is a monstrous sample size and should not be taken for granted.  To put it in perspective, PokerStars, which is by far the online poker industry leader, is currently celebrating its 100 billionth hand dealt.  So, 100 million hands is the equivalent of one-tenth of one percent of all the hands ever dealt on Stars!

This process is quite the undertaking and will require six full weeks of 24/7 number crunching to go through every hand.  Leak Buster will be importing all of these hands into a Holdem Manager 2 database and running a process called Leak Buster Cruncher.  Once its developers have the stats from all of the winning players, they will be able to update their statistical ranges used for identifying leaks for their customers.  They also plan to add a few more statistics during this process.

In a separate four-week process, Leak Buster will be updating the stats for its filter steps.  Once everything is completed, they will be separating certain statistics into ranges.  In the past, they put a weight on certain statistics when crunching your database of hands.

This is the first major post-Black Friday update to Leak Buster, and with 100 million hands being used for the analysis, they are going about it in a truly grand fashion.  Since online cash games have changed a bit since Black Friday, after the update, this will provide a more accurate sense of what their customers' leaks are so they can properly address them and improve their game and profitability by plugging them.

Leak Buster also plans on separating micro-stakes from other stakes of online play.  This is very logical on their part since micro-stakes players tend to play differently than others and so there is little point in mixing the analysis together.

Whether you are a micro-stakes player or play other stakes, you can greatly benefit by understanding where your leaks might be.  The software will run on all cash game hands for Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Hold’em, No Limit Hold’em, and Pot Limit Omaha on six-max and full ring tables.  If you are a player just learning the ropes, it is good to have some idea of where to start improving your game.  Experienced and profitable players will be able to take their games to the next level.

Leak Buster costs $49.99 for the Standard version, which includes all Hold’em or Omaha games $0.25/$0.50 and below.  The Standard Combo Pack for both Hold’em and Omaha costs $89.97, representing a $10 discount compared with buying them separately.  For higher stakes players, the Professional version costs $79.99 for either Hold’em or Omaha or $149.97 for both, also representing a discount of $10 compared to buying them separately.  This software is a bargain and should pay for itself many times over.

Try Leak Buster now with a 14-day free trial before committing to a purchase and see how it can improve your game by identifying leaks you didn’t know you had.
