HoldemResources: Ultimate Post-Game Analysis Tool

HoldemResources is a powerful tool for Texas Hold’em tournament and sit and go players to assist with their post-game analysis.  If you want to be confident when the money counts the most on a final table, HoldemResources is important to have a handle on when you should raise, 3bet, shove, call, or fold.  With time and study, you should gain this confidence, and HoldemResources helps you get your game to where it needs to be.

The odds calculator is quick to download and fortunately not only is there a version for Windows, but the software is also available for Linux and Mac poker players, who often get left out when it comes to analytical software.  After downloading it, you can utilize the instruction guide or read on the TwoPlusTwo forum how best to use it.

HoldemResources is painless to set up and you can link to your hand history database from PokerTracker or Holdem Manager.  If you do not have either of those, it is easy to set up the software to read from where various poker sites store your hand histories.  Once you have everything set up, the import process is also easy too.  Even though import time is relatively quick, even for a ton of hands, you can use filters to minimize the number of hands to analyze at one time.

After hands are imported, you can run a process to analyze them in many different ways.  Unlike other tools out there, HoldemResources includes situations for when you should 3bet and overcall.  It includes push/fold ranges based off Malmuth-Harville ICM, Malmuth-Weitzman ICM, ChipEV in Big Blinds, and Future Game situations.  There is endless analysis you can do.  The software is so advanced that it can even take into account limps and flat calls by your opponents.

The software doesn’t end there, as it's also good for the early and middle stages of games when ICM doesn’t matter and you are just trying to make good poker decisions.  With the calculator, you can see what your range should be on a heat map based off the hand ranges of one or more opponents.

To make it easy to find hands you are looking for, you can easily sort hands you played optimally or poorly to see what the software feels your range should have been.  I recommend that even the most experienced players take a look at how they played their hands, as everyone has room to improve.

Many players also like to review fictitious situations or want to study with a friend or answer questions on a poker forum with confidence.  HoldemResources makes it easy for you to load the scenario you want to look at and take a look at what your range and opponents' ranges should have been.

I personally enjoy using the software, as I am constantly studying my game looking for leaks as well as places I played correctly to instill confidence in my game.  While there are other poker tools that do similar types of calculations, I haven’t found any other software that takes it to the level that HoldemResources does.

HoldemResources is very affordable, with prices ranging from $5.55 per month on an 18-month plan to $9.99 per month on a two-month plan.  Considering what you have to gain by using this tool, it is a bargain for any serious poker player who wants to improve their performance.  For anyone who wants to take a peak what the software is about for free, there's a two-week free trial, so why not try out HoldemResources today?
