Holdem Wizard 2 Adds Low Cost Trial Option

Recently, the popular poker tracking software Holdem Wizard 2 added a low-cost trial option. Rather than fork over €60 for a piece of software sight unseen, players can now part with just €10 and get Holdem Wizard 2 for one month. Like the pricier Unlimited Version, the Trial Version supports many major online poker rooms, including 888, PokerStars, and bwin. There's virtually no risk trying out Holdem Wizard 2 for a month.

If you own the Trial Version of Holdem Wizard 2 and like what you see, then you can shell out the price differential between versions, €50, to upgrade from one to the other. The site accepts a variety of credit cards in order to pay for both versions. You can also log into your PayPal account and use that to settle up.

Holdem Wizard 2 bills itself as a card predictor and poker odds calculator. On the former, the site outlines, "Holdem Wizard predicts the percentage probability of the cards (community cards, board) which will be shown on the table. For the prediction, the Wizard uses a unique database which is automatically updated."

There's a full setup guide available on Holdem Wizard's website and you'll need Windows XP or later in order to use it. The software will guide you through actions in every hand and show you the probability of you winning the pot with your current holding, the number of times in the past your current hole cards won the hand, and what hand you actually have. There will be a ton of information right at your fingertips.

As its developers proudly point out, "Holdem Wizard does not evaluate anything that the player would not be able to calculate himself. Its advantage is that it does not require any intervention from the player; all of the calculations are done in a fraction of a second and are always accurate."

Holdem Wizard 1 was released in 2011.
