What Hold'em Manager 2 Users Are Talking About

Recently, PokerSoftware brought you an article talking about what users in the PokerTracker 4 forums were talking about. Now, we thought we'd do the same with PokerTracker's sister site, Hold'em Manager. The two poker tracking programs, under the umbrella of their parent company, Max Value Software, provide a ton of support and feedback in an easy-to-use and unintimidating forum.

The Hold'em Manager forums aren't as busy as PokerTracker's, but you'll still find plenty of support and guidance from their developers. Take the latest release of HM2, for example, which added tournament HUD support for the new WPN client. Recently, developers announced another fix to HM2: "Updated beta with Full Tilt Rush Six-Max tournament support (beta - please leave feedback) and NoteCaddy Coaching Packages import improvements."

In response to that, one user reported, "Thanks for fixing the Rush Six-Max, which works now. Then, I started to play the Double Rush at 14.30 (nine-max) and it was also working fine. Then, I started to play the Rush $1,500 Guarantee (nine-max) at 16.30 and at the beginning it was working perfectly, but after five minutes or so that one only started to show three or four hands. It is importing hands, though now nine-max is not working."

Within a few minutes, HM2 support was on the case, advising the user how to fix the issue. Although it was unresolved as of press time, HM2 support's responsiveness cannot go unnoticed.

Players in New Jersey, one of three US states to have regulated online poker, were getting into the act on the HM2 forums as well. One user wrote, "I play on NJ WSOP. When I try and convert the raw hand history using thehandconverter.com, it does not work, whereas with HM1 I never had a problem. Also, when I pull the hand up the view, I'm trying to print it, but can't seem to do this. Any ideas?"

HM2 support asked the player to email the hands the user was having issues with. Again, the response time was fairly short.

If you haven't given Hold'em Manager a whirl, it runs $99.99 for the Professional version, $159.99 for the Pro Combo: Holdem + Omaha, and $59.99 for the Small-Stakes version. Get started here.
