Getting the Most Out of PokerTableStats

One way to become more profitable on the poker felts is to improve your skill set.  Another way is by maximizing your potential using third-party software.  PokerTableStats can help you with with its advanced in-game poker odds calculator and cloud-based HUD.

How PokerTableStats works is easy.  You open up as many PokerStars tables as you are comfortable playing.  At the same time, open PokerTableStats.  The software will automatically attach itself to the side of your tables to provide you a complex in-game poker odds calculator.  The HUD will also appear above each player, giving you information to use at your disposal.

The software provides real-time information based on the cards you hold and the cards on the board with its Hand Meter, Draw Meter, and Pot Odds Meter.  Additionally, it can present Harrington's "M", the real-time odds of you or your opponent hitting a certain hand, and the ability to see mucked cards.

This is all useful information, especially if you've never studied the math behind Texas Hold'em.  However, it can also prove to be a learning tool.  Understanding how the software makes certain calculations means you should be able to improve your game even when you're not using it.

The HUD will help you understand the type of player you are up against.  You can then use this information in coordination with the stats from the odds calculator to make the best decisions against your opponent.  Having the data at your disposal is very useful and easy to understand, but you must learn to adapt at the table.  The software just provides you the key details about a hand and your opponent, but whether to raise, fold, call, go all-in, etc. are all up to you.

One thing to point out about the PokerTableStats HUD is that it doesn't provide as much detail as some of the big poker software suites do.  This could be actually a strength for PokerTableStats since it attracts players who are currently not advanced third-party software users or are using no software at all.  Having a basic HUD allows for a great introduction to the world of poker tracking software.

By covering the most important stats, players should be able to have a somewhat complete model of how opponents play and should be able to use information from the poker odds calculator to make the best actions.

While we love the HUD, we agree that if you are looking for a HUD that digs deep into certain situations, you may have learned enough to outgrow the HUD portion of the software.  If you still like the software's ability to provide you with some mathematical information via its in-game poker odds calculator, but wish to get more advanced with your HUD, you have the ability to do so by turning off an option to display HUD statistics.

This means if you already own poker tracking software packages like Hold'em Manager 2, PokerTracker 4, or Hand2Note, you don't need to worry about being forced to use PokerTableStats' HUD if you were only interested in its poker odds calculator.

Improve your poker skills and your profitability with the help of PokerTableStats today.  The software is inexpensively priced, starting at $5.99.  You can also check it out risk-free with a five-day trial to see if the software is right for you.
