How Ivey League Can Help Low-Stakes Players

Successful poker players around the world have one thing in common: they learn poker ideas from other successful poker players.  As you may already know, some of the most successful players in the world are teaching their craft at the poker training site Ivey League.

Headlined by none other than Phil Ivey, the site features dozens of amazing instructors with one name as big as the next.  You may think that with this level of talent, the site is designed for high-stakes players.  While it is true that there are many videos designed for high-stakes players, lately the site has released much instructional content for low-stakes players.

Here is an example of some of the videos released for lower stakes players.  Just a few days ago, 2014 World Series of Poker $10K HORSE bracelet winner Chris "Fox" Wallace released the second part of a video series called "Small Ball in MTT's Part 2" where he discusses a $10 buy-in On Demand MTT hand history in a huge amount of detail.  These games are a great starting point for players at a price point that attracts many recreational players as well.

Another example of an instructor focusing on lower stakes games recently is Joe "Golfish" Allis talking about how to play four tables of $50 NLHE Six-Max Zoom effectively on PokerStars while trying out a new HUD in a video series titled "$50 NL Six-Max with New HUD."

Victor "TheStudent" Vermeulen also focuses on $50 NLHE games in a video titled "Hand History Review Part 2" where he reviews 21 hands in detail using the Hold'em Manager 2 hand history replayer.

Also, Justin "looshle" Pechie released a video titled "The Big $22" where, you guessed it, he discusses a hand history from the PokerStars Big $22.

We can go on and on about all the content Ivey League has for lower stakes players. We hope that we debunked the myth that just because Phil Ivey has his name on it doesn't mean it focuses on the nosebleed games he plays, which wouldn't help most of its members improve.  What it does mean is that players who have proven themselves time and time again that they know how to dominate poker are able to show lower stakes players how to beat the games themselves.

Whether you are a lower stakes or higher stakes player, there is something for you at Ivey League.  See how the poker training site can improve your game today.  Click here for details.
