If you use Hold'em Manager 2 and are looking for other ways to improve your game, check out the newest software app in the HM Apps store, SnowieApp.

If SnowieApp sounds familiar to you, it is because this software is based off the PokerSnowie analysis tool that has been around for a few years.  Users of PokerSnowie can attest to how the software's advanced artificial intelligence has helped them improve their play.

Getting started with SnowieApp couldn't be easier, as the software is fully integrated into the Hold'em Manager 2 hand history database.

The power it provides you is immense, as it takes advantage of PokerSnowie's advanced neural network to review your hands.  Among the many things it does is show you where it feels you are making errors by street or by type.  Additionally, the software shows what its net profit would have been had it played the same hands.

Of course, SnowieApp can't play the hands for you.  In fact, it can only review hands that were already played.  Since it is a post-game study tool, SnowieApp is in full compliance with every major online poker network.

Additionally, the new SnowieApp can help you determine if your game is well-balanced.  In other words, are you successfully duping your opponents and keeping them guessing about how you might play in certain situations?

You can get advice on any hand of your choosing, which is recommended for the hands you have the most –EV loss according to the software.  The software also has a replayer where you can drill into an analysis of each move.

Also, the software works for just about any kind of No Limit Hold'em ring game, including heads-up, full ring, short-stacked, and huge stacks up to 400 big blinds.

If you plan to check out the SnowieApp – and there is no point not to since you can try it for free for 30 days – you should definitely invest some time on the three videos created by CardRunners instructor Matthew Janda about how to effectively use the SnowieApp.

You can find links to the videos on the SnowieApp FAQ page here.

The one thing you should note when using SnowieApp is that its advice doesn't take into account table dynamics or information about your opponent.  With this in mind, not every play SnowieApp may decide to do is the optimal one in that situation.

This doesn't mean the information isn't valuable. However, you should often look at the other dynamics when reviewing a hand SnowieApp flagged for you to see if there were other mitigating factors, which is a healthy habit to do anyway.

As we already mentioned, you can check out SnowieApp for free for 30 days.  If you are happy with what you see, you can purchase a year's subscription to the app for $99.  However, for a limited time, Hold'em Manager is hosting a special contest where if you create a two-minute video of you using SnowieApp and how the software helped you, you could get an additional six months free (or 18 months in total) on top of your one-year subscription.
