Everest Poker Synopsis

Everest Poker’s support of 16 different languages and juicy low-limit cash games are worth a look. Unfortunately, the site does not accept USA players at this point in time, but if you’re in a market where you can play on Everest Poker, you should take advantage of the soft and extremely beatable games.

Everest Poker Full Review

Everest Poker might not accept USA players, but for the international market, it is definitely becoming a viable option. The games are soft, the software is smooth and easy to use, the bonuses are lucrative, and the support system is helpful.

Games

If there’s one weakness to Everest Poker, it’s that the independent online poker site doesn’t have anything for high-stakes players. Its highest stakes are $50-$100, but the tables are empty more often than not. As such, Everest lacks the nosebleed action of sites like Full Tilt Poker, which in turn means it doesn’t make headlines or bring in fans and potential donators that way.

However, as vacant as the high-stakes action is, Everest Poker is exceptional for low- to mid-stakes players. The games are always running and usually full of fish, which is definitely a winning combination. The MTT schedule could use some tweaking, but make no mistake about it, the low-stakes cash games are where the money is on Everest Poker.

Software

Everest Poker’s software is slick and easy to navigate, which already puts it above much of the competition. The lobby is fully customizable and the general usability of the interface is straightforward. Everest Poker offers a feature in which you can choose from four table resolutions: 640x480, 800x600, 1024x728, and 1280x960. One downside to the Everest software is that it seems to hog memory while it’s in use.

Support

Everest Poker’s support system is a mixed bag. On the one hand, the site offers support in 16 different languages, which is far and away the most of any online poker site. On the other hand, it only offers e-mail support through a form on their website, so there’s no way to directly e-mail for help. There is a phone line, but it’s only available to VIP members and is only reachable for a seven-hour window from Monday to Friday.

Bonuses and VIP Program

You have two options when you open an Everest Poker account: a $300 incremental bonus or a $500 bonus that you receive only when you clear the full amount. For users who plan to play a decent volume, the second bonus option is the better value, but if you’re just trying out the site, you may want to opt for the $300 bonus.

Everest Poker’s VIP program, called the Summit Club, allows players to convert Summit Points into cash. The program essentially works like rakeback, as players convert points at a rate of one Summit Point for $0.004 up to $5,000 per month. As you move through the different Summit levels, you earn Summit Point bonuses that go as high as 750%.

Overall, Everest Poker doesn’t rank up there with PokerStars or Full Tilt Poker as one of the premier places to play online poker, but it is an extremely viable second tier option. The low- to mid-stakes cash games are the main draw, as they’re packed with fish and always running. Check out Everest Poker today.
