Stud Indicator Full Review
For many players, Seven Card Stud represents their first foray into the world of poker. After all, Seven Card Stud was once the most played poker game in the world. Stud games, including its variants like Razz, are still plenty juicy, but there has been no program released in the last few years that shows your and your opponents’ stats as well as critical table data.
Enter Stud Indicator, a program that retails for €59 for one year and represents a great investment if you play Stud on a regular basis. Installing the program is extremely easy on any Windows PC. Simply download it, double click the executable file, and in no time you’ll be ready to go. During our installation, we didn’t have to configure Stud Indicator, as it found the necessary poker rooms automatically. The installation process took about five minutes to complete.
Once you sit down at a Stud table, the program will activate and attach itself underneath it. Then, you can check out the stats box. This box works almost like a Heads-Up Display (HUD) would and provides you information like VPIP, PFR, AF, Hands, and net win/loss results:
Inside of the main box for Stud Indicator is all you need to have the reads necessary to dominate the game. Stud Indicator won’t make you a great poker player and doesn’t tell you what to do, so think of it as the best possible note taking system in the world for Stud games:
You’ll see players’ names displayed alongside the odds of them hitting outs to specific hands like three of a kind, flush, and full house. Stud Indicator also shows you dead cards that were folded by opponents in case your memory isn’t up to snuff.
Stud Indicator supports Limit, No Limit, and Pot Limit Stud High, Stud High/Low, and Razz games on PokerStars and PartyPoker. This program comes from the same company that developed Holdem Indicator, Tournament Indicator, and Omaha Indicator. It’s perfect for Stud players and, if you are playing the game seriously and want to keep track of stats and opponents’ tendencies, this is easily the one to invest in.
