Some of the features on this site are still in early versions and seem to be progressing slowly, but their simulators, especially for the Stud games, are excellent.

ProPokerTools.com is an ambitious project. All of the software is free and everything that is finished works correctly, so we have to give the site a lot of credit for doing what it says it does. The simulators work well and the Razz version is our favorite tool for one of our favorite games. Unfortunately, much of the rest of the site is stuck in Beta testing or experimental mode.
On the top of the site are four tabs that take you to different types of tools. The "Home" tab simply takes you to the front of the site where you can adjust your account preferences and report bugs. The "Sessions" tab takes you to the Beta version of the bankroll tracking application, which looks promising, but doesn't currently support nearly enough sites, games, or buy-in levels to be useful. The "Histories" tab is also useless right now, but looks promising. At the moment, it only supports Hold'em and Omaha cash games in PartyPoker format, but it seems to work correctly.
The "Simulator" tab is where ProPokerTools lives up to some of its potential. Razz and Omaha calculators and simulation software are rare and ProPokerTools does an excellent job with them. There are also some useful applications like the Holdem Tournalyzer - a unique ICM program - and the Holdem Oracle, a slick little equity/hand range odds calculator. These are great programs and they are available for free, so we're happy to forgive the rest of the site being incomplete, especially since it is correctly tagged as being exactly that. Remember this domain; it may be something very impressive some day soon.
