The tracking site PokerTableRatings.com has exploded into one of the largest poker information websites on the internet today. Whether you are a regular user or want take advantage of the site’s Premium product, there’s a ton to see and do. Recently, PokerTableRatings.com made an announcement that it launched currency conversion.
Now, you can see hands in the currency they were played in. For example, if you play at a table that uses the Euro as the currency, the session stats will be displayed in Euros. Hands will also show up in their native currency inside the replayer. This setting is now the default one for all users.
However, if you want to convert any of the averaged data, such as the timeline graphs or bottom-line stats, you can do so to Euros, GBP, or U.S. Dollars. All you need to do is go inside your “My PTR” settings and check the box that says “Enable Currency Conversions,” which will initiate this feature for you. You can then select a default currency and use the most recent conversion rates or manually set them yourself. If you decide to convert all averaged PokerTableRatings.com stats to a particular currency, it will, by default, use the automatic daily conversion rate. Since the rate is always changing, your stats will be slightly different every day even if you didn’t play a hand.
Players should note that currency support is not available in the “Opponents” tab or in the “VS” tab inside PokerTableRatings.com Premium for now, but they have promised that it will be added to those two tabs in the future.
For those of you who haven’t checked out PokerTableRatings.com, it has a comprehensive set of statistics for cash game tables for all players at major sites like PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, UB.com, and Absolute Poker. The site has comprehensive stats on all players and can show you their profits, losses, game play stats, and even how they performed from session to session.
There are exclusive tools inside PokerTableRatings.com that help connect a player to the rest of the online poker community. Leaderboards allow you to stay current with who are online poker’s top winners, who is winning the largest pots, and more. PokerTableRatings.com will even add Ultimate Grinder Leaderboard badges to a player’s profile if they win at a particular stake in a given calendar month.
Another tool is the Poker Buddy List, which has a ton of features to show where your favorite players (or biggest fish) are sitting on all of the major online poker sites. There’s also a Player Profile Search, which is probably the most popular feature and gives you any player’s earnings, vital stats, and session information.
Finally, there is a Real-Time Table Finder that will allow a player to pick and choose which tables to sit at based on how “fishy” they are. Also, you’ll find a Hand History Heads-Up Display Booster that lets you enter a set of variables (like site, stake, or game) and download a ton of hands to import into PokerTracker 3 or Holdem Manager.
PokerTableRatings.com is a free site that has more advanced Premium access for a monthly fee with tiered pricing. Players can also purchase hand histories at tiered pricing depending on the number of hands they wish to buy. Users can comment on other players’ profiles and participate in the chatter by commenting on posts.
